    Who would have thought it?

Only six of 54 Republican members of the Senate signed a pro-traditional marriage legal brief to the U.S. Supreme Court that was submitted on Friday. USA Today noted, “By contrast, 44 Democratic senators and 167 Democratic House members filed a brief last month urging the court to approve same-sex marriage. The brief included the full House and Senate [Democratic] leadership teams.”

And the KKK votes 100% GOP.

And now that we've dispensed with the foolishness of posting lies, this is a most interesting development.

I would say disheartening. But I've always suspected that like abortion, same sex marriage is nothing more than a political prop for most of the folks in the GOP.

The GOP is run by progressives just like the Democrat party is. The base constituting 90% of GOP voters are mostly conservatives and special interest business people.

When the DC establishment consisting of Dems, media, and establishment Republicans manages to get a McCain, Bush, or Romney nominated then they have a "no lose" situation. The question isn't whether gov't will grow bigger and more powerful... but how fast.

We're the fools who keep voting for the "lesser of the two evils" just because they throw us a bone now and again... then do nothing we want when in power.

If you listen closely, McCain, McConnell, Graham, et al will TELL YOU that they would rather lose to Obama or Hillary than win with a true conservative activist. That's why there is such a concerted effort to destroy all true conservatives... like Cruz, Cain, Palin, Bachmann, etc. Notice that they also HATE the Tea Party because the TP calls them out and challenges them.

We got where we are because Christians continued to vote Dem long after the Dems had betrayed them. We're getting worse in large measure because we continue reward the GOP for giving us "Dem-lites" to vote for.

Except for this pesky little groups like the Log Cabin Republicans...

Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight.

Funny... since abomination is also used concerning homosexuality, makes one wonder if God see liars the same as he see homosexuals... some of you guys might be in big trouble, according to your "interpretation."

Log Cabin Republicans say that Lincoln was a homosexual so they are lying about being Republican and they have no influence in either the GOP or the homos@xual community.

G@ys are dependent upon the federal government for handouts and they vote Democrat 100%, not that there is anything wrong with that. Blacks also vote Democrat 100% and Jews vote Democrat about 70%, and Catholics voted in the majority for Obama.

When a liberal Democrat tells you that the GOP is abandoning traditional marriage based upon the fact that more Democrats support same-sex "marriage" than GOP made a gesture for natural marriage, then you know that this is not out of concern for the GOP but is trumpeting the fact that the Dems are standing fast in their support of the g@y community, which is also one of their major contributors.

How are you gonna tell Log Cabin Republicans that they are lying about being Republicans? Do you need to see their cards?
Man stop. You're starting to sound senile here. I pray to God that the rest of the folks who are mad at the groups you just mentioned don't just take to making stuff up about them too.

Sooooo. Why wouldn't the GOP trumpet traditional marriage for the Christian conservative community, one of its major contributors?

While I agree with most of what you say here, the reason the GOP downplays Cruz, Cain, Palin, Bachmann, etc. is because they are lousy candidates that couldn't win.

No Republican is going to win in Minnesota. The Swedes and the Norwegians are socialists.

I am pro-Cuba and like and support the Cuban dissidents. The Democrats like Che, Fidel and Raul. Obama is going to have trouble in Panama because his Latin American policy is going to fail as Venezuela is going to charge Obama with repression.

As for Minnesota, I think that it is mostly a blue state forever. I don't know any Dems but I am sure that there are some nice ones. Around here working-class people have all left the Dem party.

You got any Black or Hispanic Christian friends? Do you have ANY Christian friends who aren't in the GOP?

It's just not healthy for a person to be so wrapped up in a political party.

I often ask Christians how they can pretend to be concerned about someone's salvation while being so negative about them because of their politics?

I live in a GOP stronghold and there just aren't any Dems around.

Who is going to be the VP for Hillary? That is going to be a strange team?

Yes, someone else brought them up earlier today.

They say that Lincoln was a sodomite. If so, that makes Lincoln immoral like them. I think that they are lying about Lincoln and I think that they are lying about being in the GOP. Here in Indiana, they have no influence and rail bitterly that they are ignored by Gov. Pence, Indianapolis Mayor Ballard, and former Gov. Daniels. As far as I know the so-called Log Cabin Republicans do not even control a precinct in Indiana. Indianapolis, as you may have guessed, has a large sodomite population downtown, and the Democrats easily carry the sodomite precincts.

Salty, it is possible to prosper without taking money from Satan. Abraham told the King of Sodom that he Abraham would not take a shoestring from him. I think that the GOP should follow Abraham's example and tell the sodomites that we don't want a penny from them.

I was thinking about this - when I ran for public office -if I had accepted contributions- (I did not - as I ran a shoe-string campaign) I doubt the Log Cabin Republicans would have supported me financially - as there would have been no doubt where I stood on the hom0sexual issue.

Good for you! Satan is the father of lies, as you know.

It seems that the Dems will nominate Hillary but there is no idea yet from the Dems publically as to her VP nominee. Dick Morris thinks that the Dems will dump Hillary because she is not up to the campaign but I think that they are locked in. Hillary cannot debate anyone so I am guessing that there will not be any debates this time, which is fine with me. The last debates were crooked with the moderators lying for the Dems.
