Got my final grades and the easy life of being a full time student has come to an end as I graduate next week. Hitting the ground running in stateside mission work, thought it was going to be foreign but looks like stateside for now, and working as well.

The battle of the trolls must roll on without me. And to the mighty Rev, if you are who you say you are, then you should be posting in line with your own sermon notes/outlines. I read through a lot of them. Great stuff. Shame you don't post what you preach... or you aren't the real Revmitchell? ;)

With that, God Bless and Goodbye. I pray that God will bless you all and that you will look to Him in all you do.

You took the time and effort in an O.P. to call out one particular poster by name and trash, lambast and insult him???

Is that what you learned to do as you wait upon God to use you mightily?

Your "Good-bye" post is dedicated to trashing a fellow Baptist poster?

    WOW!!!

    That's Godless gutter-trash.

Probably should not waste my breath, but no. You are wrong. I have seen some of the non-troll things he has written here. I have read many of his sermons notes/outlines. I have read articles where he was quoted and talked about the folks he ministers to, or has at past pastorates. While I have never heard him preach, I have a feeling he is one of the good ones. I am simply challenging him to break out of this rut of the back and forth political trolling he is a part of and be the all-star I think he probably really is. To be honest, I would love to hear him preach and hear about his ministry to the native people he is pastor to.

So... you did exactly what you accused me of and condemned me for! God Bless!

Probably the better way to word your concern. We need to remember that when we read others posts we do not hear voice inflections, we do not see body language, nor do we see facial expressions. What can be taken one way in black and white can be taken another way in person.

Just in the way of an example. Your first post as contrasted with what I have quoted here. In black and white they look like completely two different attitudes. I do not always word things in the best way. I am imperfect and prone to many things anyone else may be prone too.

However, this I will say. I will consider your constructive criticism and see what changes I may need to make. I will offer some as well. Remember the limits of communication on the internet. Remember some people take things in a way other than what was intended to say simply because they do not like one's ideology on any given issue.

If one is offended by something someone has posted it is best to ask for clarification before responding to any perceived offense. Give the other person a chance to clarify and we may all discover that clarification enlightens us to the true intent of the statement.

I wish you well and may God bless you as you glorify Him.

    In His Service,

    Pastor Mark A. Mitchell

Lord knows you've been given much of it in the past to no avail; but you say it's gonna stick this time? I'm archiving this thread also, just for the record. We'll see if you can cease being such an orgre.

Look to your own eye brother. That 200 year old pine tree in your eye is glaring and needs just as much attention as the twigs you point out in those of us you continue to place in your crosshairs.

Let me say this publicly about Rev. Mitchell. He and I had some battles, and I thought surely we could never get along. But I reached out to him privately with a peace offering, he accepted, and I now count him as a friend. I've done this with others here, with both positive and negative results.

The love that we are supposed to have for each other in Jesus Christ is powerful. Reconciliation can happen, good will can be achieved, if we choose to walk in that love.

Congratulations! It takes a lot of work and focus to reach where you are. Whether people realize it or not, everyone does change the world in their own way, whether for better or worse. It sounds like you've got a foot solidly in the door of "better," and I hope that you continue moving in that direction all of your life.
