I say yes, she is an idolatrous cult preaching another gospel of salvation by works, and we have not yet touched on the idolatrous subject of Mariology.

Here is proof from their very own official encyclopedia.

The Roman Catholic cult in their Catechism teaches that we can merit grace necessary for salvation and that eternal life is attained by baptism, sacraments, and keeping the commandments.
    1. CCC 2010, "...Moved by the Holy Spirit and by charity, we can then merit for ourselves and for others the graces needed for our sanctification, for the increase of grace and charity, and for the attainment of eternal life."
    2. CCC 2027, "Moved by the Holy Spirit, we can merit for ourselves and for others all the graces needed to attain eternal life, as well as necessary temporal goods."
    3. CCC 2068, "The Council of Trent teaches that the Ten Commandments are obligatory for Christians and that the justified man is still bound to keep them;28 the Second Vatican Council confirms: "The bishops, successors of the apostles, receive from the Lord . . . the mission of teaching all peoples, and of preaching the Gospel to every creature, so that all men may attain salvation through faith, Baptism and the observance of the Commandments."
This obviously faulty teaching in the CCC is hugely problematic since it contradicts Scripture.
    1. Rom. 3:28-30, "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. 29Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one."
    2. Rom. 4:3, "For what does the Scripture say? "And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness."
    3. Rom. 4:5, "But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness,"
    4. Rom. 5:1, "therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
    5. Rom. 11:6, "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace."
    6. Gal. 2:16, "nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified."
    We have to ask questions.
    1. Why is the RCC teaching that you attain salvation through observing the commandments when the Bible says we are saved apart from the works of the Law (Rom. 3:28-30; 4:5; Gal. 2:16)?
    2. Why would the Roman Catholic Church teach that you merit for yourself the grace needed for eternal life when that clearly contradicts Rom 11:6? See also Matt 7:21-23.
There is a great deal wrong with what the RCC teaches. We must look to God's word and not to what the RCC says we must do to be saved. Our salvation is not merited by our keeping the commandments! The Roman Catholic Church needs to repent.

Clearly teaching salvation by works. We can't merit anything towards our salvation. To say we merit grace .....is to say we earned it. Which then makes grace, well not grace. It makes grace a wage. Which makes it payment for work done.

They clearly state that we earn grace right there. Which is contradictory to scripture.

Yes, I'd like that, as well.

I'm hesitant to use the word "cult". I think it's thrown around too much.

EDIT: For some who need more clarity, my question more specifically is; Is the RCC a false religion (A Satanic church)?

I say that Satan controls most of the RCC, she is a blasphemous man made religion.

False man made religion preaching another gospel.

Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Okay, so I would say the RCC has many false doctrines. I would say the same for some other denominations. I wouldn't go so far as to call them a cult.

True, but we are talking about an essential doctrine of the gospel that cannot be altered in any way. Romanites preach salvation via sacraments, the worst one is the Mass, where they spit in Jesus face and say your atonement was not good enough.

I believe the case can be made that the RCC is more dangerous or just as dangerous to the cause of Christ as is Islam. What can be more dangerous than leading billions of people to believe that they are redeemed when they aren't?

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! Galatians 1:8

For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.

I don't believe they teach that it's possible to be saved without faith, though.

It doesn't matter, faith + sacraments or + anything is another gospel of salvation by works.

I think it does matter. They are not teaching that one can be saved by the sacraments solely. I agree that it's an important matter, very important. Now if they claimed that salvation didn't require faith but only the sacraments, that would make them not Christian. I am not prepared to say, though, that they are not Christian. Just like I wouldn't say that Calvinists are not Christian.

No, I don't believe they are.

Keep in mind, this cult, historically, carried the faith of Christ for almost a millennia between c. 590 and 1517. If you consider them a cult, then you have to account for the (likely) one billion people who were faithful followers during this period that died without hope or grace.

I can't do that, I don't think God does that. From my experience there are just as many who are saved and faithful followers of Christ in the Roman Catholic Church as the Eastern Orthodox Church as within Protestantism.

Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ alone, not Christ plus this or that. For example, if Mother Theresa did not put her trust in Christ alone, she is in Hell for here sins. Vile sinful mans ONLY hope is in the perfect Lamb. Most Romanites are the Lord Lord types.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

    It's not about numbers.

Trillions of humans were faithful followers of self, and trillions will be in the eternal lake of fire.

Also, Eastern Orthodox is a false religion.

There is nothing for God to love in any human! God is not obligated to save anyone, and nobody deserves the love of God.

Eastern Orthodox is much closer to the NT than Calvinism is.
