Common sense should have told them what would and did happen.

Regardless of this thread or the article, my guess is the Republicans will carry Kansas in 2016. Here we go again with another Democrats and Republicans are different thread.

But they are different! The republicans want to take us on a different route to totalitarian government than the democrats.

    Same destination. Different routes.

    See there IS a difference!

Well the Obama fiasco is ample proof that you can't tax your way to prosperity. Six+ years of a miserable so-called recovery with the rich getting richer and the middle class shrinking and getting poorer, 16 million more on food stamps, about 8 million more on disability depleting the nonexistent Social Security trust fund, and now a negative growth rate for the last quarter.

And the Crab is sincerely concerned about Kansas! Is there anyone this BB who doubts the sincerity of the Crab's sincerity? If so speak up!

No tax cut is going to work if spending keeps increasing. Honestly, this is stupid, even for you.

To quote Glenn Beck, "The only difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is that the Democrats want to take us to Hell in a rocketship, while the Republicans want to take us to Hell in a horse and buggy".

I'm glad I forced myself to read that post; it's a good saying. I almost stopped reading after, "To quote Glenn Beck..."

Democrats believe in public assistance (welfare) republicans believe in private assistance (corporate welfare).

Socialism, different strokes for different folks.
