If that is soccer then no, I would rather watch the paint dry and the grass grow.

Always a ray of sunshine Rev.

I'm not the biggest soccer fan but I enjoy the "event" in and of itself. It's fun to get all jingoistic for awhile in a light hearted manner.

I always enjoy watch the World Cup, both the men's and women's. I find it fascinating watching the teamwork that is required in soccer.

Soccer is just about non-stop action. Nothing like baseball with the pitcher staring at the catcher, spitting and scratching himself.

Yes, it's been fun to watch. Great game by Colombia the other day, beating France 2-0. Only three shots on goal the entire game, but two scores. The USA should beat Nigeria and move on to the next round.

My wife is making me flip the channel over to it every now and then. USA #14 was one of her students in HS.

I saw her and said "look #14, there she is." But she was on the wrong team - wearing a Denmark jersey

I have a former student who is now a teacher herself who is there in Canada (or was there - is it over?). She and her husband and three kids are all ga-ga over soccer. Both men's and women's.

    They are die hard fans.

    I have done all three.

    In order of preference:

    • Watching paint dry.
    • Watching grass grow.
    • Watching _____________.
    • Watching soccer in any shape, manner or form.
