There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Peace will not be until Jesus comes again and does away with the wicked who refuse to repent.

Do you mean we should not work for peace?

Have you thought about the fact that peace does not just mean peace between nations. How about peace within the home?

"God's peace rooted in justice" is all over there webpage. I don't think the know what God's justice is. I think they mean God's peace rooted in "our" justice. Social justice, not God's justice. Looks like a political group more than a church group. What are these "non- violent means" of change they fight for. What are these negations they partake in? They fight for the homosexuality agenda. They have a lesbian board member(...or she maybe the VP, can't remember) and she is also the worship leader at the conference. This group is apostate. Seeking to lead others from the gospel. Seeking to pollute the gospel with "social justice" and advancing immorality. The only prayer they will get from me is that they turn from their apostasy.

    * correction, Ms. Baker is not currently on the board of directors. She is currently VP of the Baptist alliance. Where she was a champion of gay marriage. Baptist Peace Fellowship and Baptist Alliance have worked hand in hand promoting sinful lifestyles.

The word peace in the op is being used to justify every progressive ideology under the sun. The whole thing is a liberal progressivefest. No thanks.

Are you saying you do not think we should pray for peace?

I am sorry for your misunderstanding to my very clear statement. That is not anything remotely close to what I said.

OK, than I assume you agree that all of us, regardless of whether we are seen as fundamental, conservative or liberal, should pray and work for peach.

I don't think we should esteem any fruit above the others. It's all up to personal choice.

We should pray for the peace which passes understanding, which can be found only in Jesus the Christ. Then we should pray and try to follow His Great Commandment and the Golden Rule. We should call to repentance and forsaking sin and cultural relativism. Peace begins within each one of us individually and how we treat other people. If we want to change the world, we should begin with ourselves.
