In John 8:1–6, Jesus was at the temple when the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman who had been caught in the very act of adultery. They tried to test Jesus by asking Him whether she should be stoned according to the law of Moses.

Now, they were trying to trap Jesus because if Jesus said, “Stone her,” they would say to the people, “So much for His teachings about God’s love and being sent to the world not to condemn, but to save.” But if He said, “Don’t stone her,” then they would accuse Him of breaking the law.

So what did Jesus do? He wrote on the ground with His finger. He did so not because He could not answer. He did this to demonstrate that He was the one who wrote the Ten Commandments on two tablets of stone with His finger during Moses’ time. (Exodus 31:18)

Then, Jesus said, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” (John 8:7) And one by one, those who heard this walked away, being convicted by their conscience. Now, let’s look at what Jesus did next:

    John 8:10–11
When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

Many people like to quote the last phrase, “go and sin no more.” But it does not release the power to go and sin no more. That is because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is only released to set you free from the law of sin and death when you first receive the gift of no condemnation. That is why Jesus gave the woman the gift of no condemnation before He told her to “go and sin no more”!

I love to say it like this: The Pharisees would condemn her, but they could not. Jesus could condemn her, but He would not. Hallelujah!

So those people who think that the preaching of no condemnation will cause people to sin more don’t fully understand what Jesus said in John 8:11. The only way for people to go and sin no more—the only way for people to be empowered in their life, to walk in peace, joy and faith, and to live the abundant life that Jesus came to give us—is to understand that there is now no condemnation in Christ.

Two Things Will Happen To You

When you realize and understand that there is now no condemnation in Christ, two things will happen to you.

The first thing that will happen when you understand that God does not condemn you in Christ is that you will stop condemning yourself. Do you know that many people who are always angry are like that because of guilt? For example, when a man feels guilty for not being able to provide for his family, he gets angry and takes it out on his wife.

It is like having a small pebble in your shoe. You cannot walk properly because it is bothering you. So it is with guilt. And you must resolve it by going to God and thanking Him that there is therefore now no condemnation because your sins have already been punished in the body of His Son.

As long as you think that God condemns you, you will condemn yourself. And your body and mind are so intelligent that, unconsciously, they believe that you want to punish yourself. So they will say, “Okay, it’s time to pass a condemning sentence on this body!” And sickness is produced. Disease is produced. But long before symptoms manifest in your body, you were already a walking civil war.

The second thing that will happen when you understand that God does not condemn you in Christ is that you will stop condemning others. You will not condemn those who are also in Christ for their failures. You will even look at the world with eyes of no condemnation because you will see them the way Jesus sees them—as lost sheep who are without a shepherd. And He said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” (John 10:11) Praise the Lord!

You still haven't described how you would be accountable for your sins, or not sin at all du to the blood or wine of Christ. What motive do you have to stay on the right path if someone already piad your debt in full, and then said not to work that debt off. Being unaccountable and iresponsable does not equate to Christ, Crist, or Christianity.

Christ paid for sin, I do not have to be accountable. Be led by the Spirit, not the Law.

Be lead by the spirit to uphold the law of existence. Misdirection is opposing work. It is rooted deep and hidden well my friend.
    Thanks.

Being in God means sin will no longer be a habitual practice. God is in us and will not allow it. Conviction and repentance will win out.

1John 3:9 "No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God."

Works have nothing to do with salvation.
    Ephesians 2:9-10
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may"

You are starting to teach salvation by works. The law does not save. It has no power to save. Only to give knowledge and condemn.

Romans 3:20 "For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin."

There is no condemnation under the law.
Romans 8:1-2. "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

Not at all. No salvation in the law period. I assume this is what you mean by golden rule....

    Matthew 7:12English Standard Version (ESV)

    The Golden Rule

12*“So*whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is*the Law and the Prophets.

    Romans then says.....
3:20-21"But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,"

We are justified by grace, which is apart from the law. The law will bear witness to righteousness, which is the morally right character of God...but does not save.

    The law saves no one.
    Romans 3:20
"For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin."

You distinctly speak of the laws of man. Those are not to be confused, much as work or general labor isn't to be confused with the work of God.

Yes, you are confused. I am sorry. It speaks of man's law mostly speaking of the laws of the currupt Romans. Other parts are missdirection by said Romans. If you remove the word Jesus and remember that the word Crist is in reference to a godly state manifested on earth, perhaps you will begin to understand the atrocious deception hidden within Ramans.

    Thank you. No offence.

Paul(Romans 10:9) clearly states how one is saved.

"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

    Romans 4:3
What "corrupt" Roman law would Abraham be keeping? Abraham was keeping the law of God, not Romans. He was not saved by that law either. It was faith and faith alone(but not a faith that is alone) that saved.
"What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness"

Is this a claim the book of Romans, written by the Apostle Paul is corrupt?
