Bush is Roman Catholic. I expect Rubio is also! Course the last Southern Baptist to be president was a loser, only slightly better than Barak Hussein Obama!

Actually if they can't invite all they should invite none!

It's kinda early but I agree with you, OR, that the SBC should just sit this one out if they don't want to hear from their own members but would invite a monster like Hillary to lie to them.

Isn't Donald Trump polling over 10%?

Apparently he wasn't on May 1st.

I question the need to do this. Even if I was OK with it, it's way premature to have candidates from a field of 19 or 20 address the convention 15 months before the actual election. Silliness.

Was also wondering why the OP put "Missions" in quotes in the thread title?

With that many candidates, I wouldn't have been surprised if none of them were over 10%.

So they end up with the worst possible candidates speaking.

    Real dumb move.

Bush is indeed Catholic. Rubio is as well, though he also attends an SBC church on occasion.

The SBC has made a terrible decision on this.

I'm all for the ERLC hosting a separate event outside of the missions conference, but it shouldn't be part of any mission's conference.

    Politicians don't help missions.
