I havent had the chance to review the videos but have read the book that it appears the video sessions follow.

The book covers the origins issue in a friendly way yet makes the readers confront issues that have confounded and perplexed Christians for ages.

IMO it's one of the best introductions to the origins issue.

I agree Rob. It is a very well done work, sprinkled with a genuine gentle spirit. I am beginning to plan to work this in as a Short Term Small Group offering at my local church. I am convinced that we "lose" a great deal of young people due to the lack of honest conversations concerning both the "audio" and "video" tracks of God's revelations to humanity.

I have not perused the book nor read Deacon's link yet, but I did view all three videos.

Certainly video #1 and #2 are solid, stating the obvious. Video #3 (5 View of Human origin) flounders, basically accepting our current view of scientific evidence as valid, and questioning our current view of the biblical account.

    1) It is unlikely that the dating for Adam and Eve, about 6000 years ago, is off by more than 1 or 2 thousand years.

    2) The fact that physically we share our design with other primates does not require that God did not modify an existing animal design to specially create Adam and Eve in His image about 6000 years ago.

Appreciate your input and perspective. Just in case you might be wondering (you probably aren't) I would be most comfortable in Category 4

You are welcome. I have yet to come across or formulate a solution for the evidence of primates able to handle abstract thought (i.e. paint in caves images of wildlife) with Adam and Eve being created about 6000 years ago.
But I fully support that we (Christians) should continue to try and solve this puzzle, as the dark side uses it to block people from entering heaven.
