Instead of "Let's roll!" It was "Let's go!"

It's great that things turned out as they did. God bless them all.

Once again, brother Squire, the French owe a small debt to the American military and its citizens. This was an awesome act by the three "Yanks!"

However, it was the Frenchman who was shot taking the initial action.

We always think of the French as being so anti-American, but these events show a different side, and they have been very generous in their thanks. We are after all allies in many ways.

There was no Frenchman who was shot. A Frenchman had encountered the gunman, but did not take any action.

An American, Mark Moogalian, was the first person who took action and wrestled the AK-47 out of the hands of the terrorist. He was shot with a pistol for his trouble.

So it's really :The Tale Of Four Americans And A Brit

I believe you're referring to Mark Moogalian. Who in the report below is identifies as "Franco-American".

    http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/24/europe/france-train-shooting/index.html

His identity was not revealed until yesterday the 24th. At the time of my original post (the 23rd), he was being referred to as an "unidentified Frenchman".
