    Regardless of what 'all' means

A Calvinist swore that nobody Jesus died for could end up in hell and he said the very idea is blasphemous.

the death of jesus is sufficient. have the means to actually be able to save all sinners, but only those whom receive that thru faith receive its benefits, and those would be the chosen and elect in Christ!

Thats a True Concept, if anyone Christ died for winds up in Hell, that means His Death was overcome and proved to be ineffective to save, which is Blasphemous, and totally against the Truth of 1 Pet 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Peter writes to these belivers stating that they were healed by Christ's Stripes, which is His Death !

The word healed means , to bring about ones Salvation ! Its the greek word iaomai and means:

    I.to cure, heal

    II.to make whole

A.to free from errors and sins, to bring about (one's) salvation

    So there you Go !

Many that Christ died for will end up in Hell.

The "Gift" is given unto all men, but salvation is given only to those who obey the Gospel. So yes, there is a difference.

    God bless.

Because Jesus died that all men may be saved does not mean that all men will be saved. Because God desires that all men be saved does not mean that all men will be saved. Because God loved the world does not mean that all men will be saved.

Would say that is an incorrect understanding of the concept of atonement, in the sense whom did God intend to get saved by death of jesus, but NOT "Blashemy"

This is saying that Christ death alone doesn't save those He died for, more disrespectful speaking against the death of Christ, in essence saying that His Death alone doesn't save, blasphemy!

Yes it is, do you believe that some for whom Christ died shall wind up lost?

Christ died for all the world in all generations. His sacrificial death is only efficacious to those that believe. Sola Fide was one of the foundational tenets of the Reformation. Have you denied your roots?

The same applies to you, you don't believe that Christ death alone Justified, reconciled, saved them He died for, that is blasphemy!

This statement is only half true, Yes it is efficacious only to them that believe, thats why they believe, because His death was efficacious , even without them believing; That is why they were reconciled to God by His Death, while they were enemies Rom 5:10 so that proves that His Death was efficacious on their behalf before they believed ! You deny that, you are guilty of denying the efficasiousness of Christs Death and that makes you a blasphemer, i dont care who you are and what the consequences are for me telling you in your face, so to speak !

    That is a contradiction.
It is efficacious because they believe.
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
--There is no salvation outside of faith in Christ.
Not true. His omniscience did not cause their salvation.
Your opinion doesn't make me a "blasphemer" only one who breaks the rules of this board.
You ought to care. Express your thoughts as you believe them not calling others names. Can you do that?

It is True, and nobody said anything about omniscience causing salvation, where did you get that from ?

Those Christ died for were reconciled to God by His Death while they were enemies and unbelievers Rom 5:10, which proves that Christ's Death was efficacious for them while they were in unbelief ! That makes your statement a LIE !

For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it (salvation) is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.
--You err not knowing the scriptures.

    Premise:
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

    Development of premise:
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

    Why the death of Christ?
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

    Back to the premise:
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Our justification, called a free gift in verse 18, is received by faith, as only a free gift can be received. It is that free gift, his salvation provided on the cross, that reconciles us unto God. But it must be accepted by faith. Only then can one be reconciled to God.

You can quote all the scripture you like, that doesnt mean you believe or understand them ! The fact still remains, those Christ died for by that death, reconciled to God while they were enemies Rom 5:10 which proves His Death was efficacious for them before they believed and were yet in unbelief !

That is not the case with all, because others who are unbelievers and enemies are under Gods Wrath and Condemnation Jn 3:18,36 so what made the difference ? Christ's Death !

    What made the difference?
Faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Without faith there is no salvation.

Consider Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
Who is the author and finisher of your faith, SBM? Allah??
