200 can be right. 200 can be wrong. Time will tell. If Powell will you congratulate him?

The Rev's attitude isn't what concerns me. All things being equal I agree with the Rev, we shouldn't negotiate with terrorists. But things aren't all equal as the article I linked to shows.

How is letting Iran investigate its own nuclear facilities a good deal?

Things are never as simple as many would like to believe.

Sure they are. Iran is slaughtering people in other countries, they have imprisoned US citizens on trumped up charges, they want Israel destroyed off the face of the earth and the only single reason they want that is simply because they are Jews.

Seeing as how you support organizations like PP that slaughter unborn children it comes as no surprise that you support countries that slaughter adults as well.

You paint with far too wide a brush. Poncho ask a good question. Please answer him.

And, as so often happens when you realize you have taken an indefensible stance you try to derail the thread.

I support peace and following the teachings of the Prince of Peace. Why don't you try his approach to making peace?

What makes you think they hate all Jews and Christians? Why are they not killing all of them inside their country?

Red herring alert. Everyone wants peace. Opposing this Iran deal does not mean not wanting peace. Also I am not derailing the thread I ans showing your history of supporting people who slaughter others. Iran (which is the topic of this thread) is one the those groups of people you apparently support even thought they slaughter others. Further, you take the typical liberal position of opposing fellow Americans much like Obama while supporting people slaughtering terrorist nations like Iran.

So yes I am on topic.

The Saudi Arabian government has reportedly passed a law that imposes the death penalty on people caught smuggling Bibles into the majority-Muslim country.

According to the HeartCry Missionary Society, the Saudi government issued an official statement signifying that capital punishment may now be used on those who smuggle Bibles into the desert nation, where the royal family upholds a strict Wahhabi brand of Sunni Islam.

The society's report added that the death penalty, which usually comes in the form of beheadings, can also be used against people who simply distribute the Bible and all other "publications that have prejudice to any other religious belief other than Islam." This means that anyone handing out any kind of religious literature that is not of Islamic faith can legally be executed.

Dozens of Christians 'including women and children' are arrested in Saudi Arabia after tip-off to state's Islamist police force

Islamist police in Saudi Arabia have stormed a Christian prayer meeting and arrested its entire congregation, including women and children, and confiscated their bibles, it has been reported.
The raid was the latest incident of a swingeing crackdown on religious minorities in Saudi Arabia by the country's hard-line Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

WASHINGTON — When you're royalty, go big or don't go at all.

That's at least true for Saudi Arabia's King Salman, who touched down on U.S. soil Thursday to the sight of dozens of black luxury cars awaiting his arrival at Joint Base Andrews located just outside Washington in Prince George's County, Md.

Wall Street Journal reporter Carol Lee snapped a photo of his epic entourage. (On a recent trip to France, Salman had a 10-vehicle motorcade, and hired an additional 400 luxury car drivers, the BBC reported.)

Four Seasons rolls out the red carpet for King Salman

In anticipation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia’s stay, the Four Seasons hotel in Georgetown has done some redecorating — literally rolling out red carpets in order to accommodate the royal’s luxurious taste.

Eyewitnesses at the property have seen crates of gilded furniture and accessories being wheeled into the posh hotel over the past several days, culminating in a home-away-from-home fit for the billionaire Saudi monarch, who is in Washington for his first White House meeting with President Barack Obama tomorrow.

Welcome to America – Several Things to Ponder as the Saudi King Visits the White House

As we speak, U.S. leaders are rolling out the red carpet for one of the most ruthless and barbaric governments in the world: Saudi Arabia.

One man's terrorist is another man's proxy fighter . . . or honored guest as the case may be.

In a less Orwellian world consistency would demand condemning Sunni as well as Shiite persecution and terrorism. Wouldn't it?
