Report: Joe Biden himself leaked the story that it was his dying son’s wish that he run for president

Grief has many stages. First is disbelief. Then anger. Then sorrow. Then numbness. Then, finally, comes calculating how a strategically leaked anecdote about the deceased to a friendly New York Times columnist might make the public more receptive to a presidential run.

Why is there even a question if he will run?

If you absolutely HAD to choose between Biden, Hillary, or Bernie, who would it be?

Luckily for us we don't have to make those kinds of decisions as they're already made for us well in advance of the "election".

If there were absolutely no other choice, I do not know. It would be a matter of determining the least of the three evils.

I will say, though, that Biden would be the most entertaining.

If it absolutely MUST be a Democrat, I'd have to go with Biden. Besides his motor mouth the biggest hurdle he'll have in getting elected will be having to defend the Obama administration that he was part of. IMO.

I would find a way to not have to. Neither of the three meet the criteria to receive my support.

From what perspective? From the (hypothetical) perspective that I was a Democrat and was choosing my candidate? Or from the perspective that I wanted the Democrats to lose to an opposing candidate?

If I were a Democrat and wanted to win the election I would pick Hillary.
If I wanted the Democrats to definitely lose I would pick Sanders. (Hello 1972!)
If I wanted the Democrats to lose (probably) and also be entertained I would pick Biden.

If you are asking which one could do the least damage to the US I would say Biden.

The Dems know that the sure thing is Hillary if they want to keep the White House. There might be some folks who don't like her and are entertaining a Biden run or just having fun with Bernie. But in the end , they will back the sure thing.

Quaint. But neither tshirts nor fancy slogans are gonna stop her from becoming the next President of the United states. If McCarthy isn't going to prison, neither is she.

Clinton is no longer a sure thing. The Email Scandal has hurt her, and her unfavorable numbers with men are as bad as Trump's are with women. Sanders is gaining in popularity; and Biden, though he has not yet announced, already has Obama's blessing.

This stuff is forgotten by most of the public in less than 30 days. It's a LONG way to the DNC convention.

I think that Biden would do the least damage, but am concerned that he may be too easily influenced by others.

I agree, but it has already been an issue for some time. It should be long past by now.

That email scandal didn't hurt her with democrats. Not many folks are gonna not support her because of some emails. Sanders is a Socialist. It's like a dirty word. Biden is a lame duck who would lose the general. Not happening.
