    True.

It's rotting from the inside just like all great societies have in the past.

All his other reasons could be erased and just leave this one:

    • Going ethically and morally bankrupt
    That's enough.

    From the article:

    • Relying on massive military force (and using gigantic complexes to support it) as the be-all and end-all of power, and belittling diplomacy
The Iran Nuclear deal, the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement, the Russian Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the New START treaty (and before that SALT, SALT II, START, etc.)

    • Maintaining standing armies, instead of disbanding military forces between wars
Yes, look what reducing our armies did for our preparedness after WWI and Vietnam.

    • Using more mercenary forces than citizen troops
This is patently false. There are not more mercenary troops than members of the US military armed forces.

    • Spending disproportionately large amounts of blood and treasure in order to counter threats on the status quo … which simply exacerbates the threat against the empire
    "Disproportionate" is a subjective statement.

    • Going ethically and morally bankrupt
    Ditto.

    • Ending up up having bankers and financiers end up running the real power
Who has the real power is debatable.

    • Suffering great hiccups in finance and trade
"Great hiccups" is subjective. Economic cycles do happen.

    • The leaders no longer really believe in or follow the ideals of the founders
Another subjective statement. BTW, it contradicts the bankers running the country claim. If bankers truly run the country this claim should say, "The bankers no longer really believe or follow the ideals of the founders."

Look at how many successful wars/interventions we've had since WW2. Supposedly we've had the biggest baddest most prepared military on the planet. So, what happened?

Unless you're looking at Iraq and Afghanistan. The troops have been "drawn down" but the number of "military contractors" has increased. We should also include all the Sunni Muslim mercenaries we've been funding and arming to topple regimes so we don't have to have American "boots on the ground" to do the dirty work. You can call them moderate rebels if you like but that's been shown to be so much hooey already.

Only if our military adventures can be called successful. How many of them since WW2 can we put in that category?
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Proverbs 22:7

    End of debate. ;)

    So do banker bailouts, now.

It should say the banker's political puppets no longer really believe or follow the ideals of the founders. (see Proverbs 22:7 for further details)

If the government had power over the central bankers we would have had a complete audit of the Fed but the Fed won't allow the government to do it .

The Fed says NO! And congress tucks it's tail and limps away.
