The following numbers don't lie! Are Americans better off today, after seven years of Obama's "Change" than say 10, 20 or even 30 years ago? You tell me! However, before you do, check out the telling numbers, and attached links! And if you debate these numbers, then, please have the guts to share your source and link!

    * One in 7 on food stamps :http://www.prb.org/Publications/Articles/2014/us-food-stamps.aspx

    * In the 1970s, 1 out of every 50 Americans participated in the program: http://dailycaller.com/2013/01/09/n...dren-on-food-stamps-in-fy-2011/#ixzz3osqu64Gz

    * 93 million Americans out of work: http://cnsnews.com/news/article/ali...-exceed-93-million-first-time-627-labor-force

Then we have two telling quotes from the president and his first lady!

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” — Barack Obama, October 30, 2008

“We are going to have to change our conversation; we’re going to have to change our traditions, our history; we’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation.” — Michelle Obama, May 14, 2008: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/359967/obama-transforming-america-victor-davis-hanson

Did they succeed in "CHANGING America?" And has that change been for our overall good?

I'm better off now than I was when Obama took office. Of course, he had nothing to do with it. I don't look to the government as the agent of change to improve my life.

I figured you might be capable enough to provide an educated response, and not some off the cuff snide remark! Still, because God loves you and we are both HIi children, I too love you and respect your opinions, whatever they may be! Shalom! Whistling

C'mon this is me you're talking to now RD2. I know what's gone on between the two of us in the past so playing the innocent victim routine isn't going to work with me.

Look, if you want to call me names and belittle me because you disagree with some of my positions and opinions that fine. If you want to put me on your ignore list and do sneak attacks on me that's fine to I don't even expect an apology but at least be man enough to admit it and be willing to except some of the same in return instead of playing the poor innocent "Righteous Dude" victim that never went out his way to hit me with insults and off the cuff snide remarks.

You rated six (6) of my posts with a "thumbs down" while I was supposedly on your ignore list. I can live with the ratings I don't expect everyone to agree me as I am kind of the anti - consensus contrary bad boy black sheep of Baptist Board but gee golly wow man I was on your ignore list when you gave me those ratings.

    How is that "righteous", dude?

I don't get people like you RD2, you've called me names and made fun of me and hit me with insults and snide remarks out of the blue month after month after month and then you complain and act like the poor innocent little victim when I don't respond to you with the respect you demand !!!! ?

Were you never taught the golden rule?

Here's a hint . . . It's not "do unto others then demand they respect you afterward".

I didn't vote because I think we are roughly the same, just worse in some areas and better in others. I think healthcare is a bit better but employment is worse. The war situation is a bit better, but the split between political parties is worse.

Because he needs to feel validated. There are those who have no real convictions and can only be fulfilled when they are part of a hive mindset. If this board were full of liberal leaning Democrats, he would espouse those views, making stupid polls and sit back and wait for pats on the back from them too.

Every body else is moving on to the next election cycle and he's still asking stuff he no doubt asked a year into the Obama administration. He's asked this same question two or three times.

Pats on the back are like Viagra to some.

Sorry I just get sick of people that feel they have a right to attack others who they disagree with then demand to be treated with respect afterward.

It's soooo . . . h-h-h-h-h . . . , uh oh, I almost forgot I'm not allowed to use that word no matter how well it applies to some people here.

I feel bad for RD2 I really do. I just found out he's been singing the blues and inviting people to his private self pity parties for at least four years now.

    That's just sad man.

Once again RD2 is playing the innocent victim. WJALRD2?

Still waiting for you to have the guts to give your explanation why you're giving me negative ratings, when I'm supposed to be on your ignore list.

Oh wait, that's right you don't have to live by the same standards you apply to others. WJALRD2?

If you haven't guessed what WJALRD2 means yet I'll spell it out . . . Would Jesus Act Like RD2?

BTW, I gave you the two "dumb" ratings because I think it's dumb for you to treat people with disrespect then expect them to treat you with respect in return.

It really depends on your field, and what kind of person are you. I mean, you cannot just always depend your success/improvement on the current president. You also have got to work hard for it. Some people lives have gotten better, and some have gotten even worse.
