A while back, I called the massive exodus of refugees/immigrants flowing into Europe from Muslim nations as a Trojan Horse! Now, I have to wonder if today's assault on Paris is just the beginning of many more attacks by the enemy who snuck in under the cover of refugee/illegal immigrant status? I only hope that today's events send a message to all of European and American officials that they we need to say, "no more!" and mean it?

My question is simple: Should Western nations start turning away the hoards of Muslims flooding their borders until they have been completely vetted?

It is not clear yet what has happened. Some of the reports from the survivors last night indicate that the gunmen spoke French. They may well have been French citizens who training with ISIS and then returned to France to conduct their mission.

The refugees are fleeing this very thing and I seriously doubt they would knowingly allow and ISIS members to blend in with their number because that would put them in danger.

Instead of concocting policy based on the assumption that refugees must be malicious, let's get more information.

From reading your posts, I acknowledge that you truly care about the refugees, but I have to comment on the above. Radicalized Islamists are not like the Nazis, with rosters and uniforms, or like the gangs here, using colors/cutts/tattoos to self identify.

If someone from ISIS or sympathetic to ISIS wants to blend in, then it will be simple for them to do so.

So what do you base your opinion on?

Personal experience? A friend who is in the midst of working with these people? Data? A prejudice against refugees?

If I am the dreamer and you are the realist, tell me about reality.

Can someone explain why ISIS members would need to enter Europe with the masses of refugees? Why not just enter whenever you want? Europe has mostly open borders anyway. Once you are in one country of the EU you can go to just about any other one unimpeded. Besides, coming in with the refugees almost certainly prohibits a terrorist the ability to smuggle weapons into the country.

Further we have allowed millions of Mexican "refugees" to invade America we, we are broke and deep in debt, we do not have the resources to take on any more. If we never take another immigrant in we have nothing to be ashamed of. We have sent countless dollars around the world for years rescuing the helpless and defending the defenseless. We are broke and in debt. Let other countries deal with this.

Why would anyone in their right mind think terrorists wouldn't take this opportunity to hide amongst the thousands of so called "refugees" to infiltrate their targets? I would have to call that kind of thinking nothing less than mindless stupidity.

    And then there's this:

At least one man linked to Paris attacks registered as refugee in Greece: police

Athens (AFP) - Greek police on Saturday said at least one man with a possible connection to the Paris attacks had registered as a refugee with Greek authorities earlier this year.

    SNIP

"We confirm that the (Syrian) passport holder came through the Greek island of Leros on October 3 where he was registered under EU rules," he said a statement.

French police said the passport was found "near the body of one of the attackers" during the investigation into the main site of Friday's carnage, at the Bataclan concert hall where 89 people were killed.

The authenticity of the passport was being checked, but its discovery indicates a possible Syrian connection in Friday night's violence, which also saw three suicide blasts outside the Stade de France and gun attacks on restaurants and cafes in Paris.
