The Senate is heading toward a battle over Sen. Rand Paul's (R-Ky.) "Audit the Fed" legislation, giving the GOP presidential candidate a long-desired floor fight.

Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) — who said he was acting on behalf of Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) — set up a procedural vote on Paul's legislation for Tuesday, Jan. 12, the same day as President Obama's final State of the Union address.

Something his daddy was chomping at the bit to do. If Rand Paul were to ever take the lead in the polls it would be very telling from the adversaries that would come from the woodwork, much like it is now with Trump. They're scared to death of what would be revealed.

It's why Rand has my vote in the primary, we must get this spiraling debt under control.
