I love gospel tracts and pass them out all the time. I keep money tracts in my wallet always. Outside of money tracts I have observed that cartoon tracts are the 2nd most popular and ones that unbelievers most of the time will read. Since there are so many atheists, agnostics, and skeptics these days, few of which will want to get into a conversation I think that these tracts will be a great witnessing tool to reach the lost in your area. The tracts serve as a ice breaker and conversation starter. I ordered my pack of tracts and I hope that you will order yours.

I definitely would never ever use the money tract - that's just deception and I don't like deceiving people. I much rather get into a person's life and directly teach them about Jesus.

Try doing that with a thousand people you run across on the street of a large city.

Tract planet has a money tract that looks identical to a $100 bill and yes I compared them once. The only difference is the denomination.

How many of those 1000 people actually even read your tracts? How many tracts did Jesus use?

So is that a mark of distinction? Is the point to fool people so they will be eager to hear more lies?

Why have you brought this subject up once more when you have been soundly trounced before?

The point is to gain people's attention for enough time to have them read a gospel message.
I don't really like money tracts to be honest. Of course if it has the Gospel on it I am for it.

Gospel Tracts are a good thing, it sure is better than letting people keep walking down their path to hell.

People do get saved and affected by Gospel tracts...

We should not have to lie to people before giving them the gospel. That is exactly what money tracts do, which really undercuts the trustworthiness of everything else.

As someone said in another thread, we should look at Scripture not results, and Scripture condemns being deceitful which is exactly what money tracts are.

Money tracts are not deceitful considering you can tell they are just a novelty thing that's being given to you.

Come on people, Like these folks really think we are giving them money, one earnest look gives them the hint that it's obviously just something fun and novel we are giving away.

You guys here on BB are something else sometimes. There's some soul on his way to hell who might get handed a tract like that and get saved soon.

If you think it's deceit then ok. But it's obvious to me that's it's just novelty, and back when I use to hand those out, I don't believe I had a single person who didn't realize it was just suppose to be novel.

I have seen them on the ground, watched people run to pick it up because they think its money from a distance and then throw them down in disgust. They are deceitful which makes them wrong.

The problem is when you leave a "money tract" as a tip for a waitress!!!!

also - Evan said "Recently someone got saved by reading a money tract. "
Are you saying just ONE person?

the best "tract" is our life to others - ie Friendship evangelish

Well a tract without conversation can never make a disciple like the great commission calls us to. The great commission involves relationship at every level.

No its not. The best gospel tract is the gospel being clearly preached.

Cartoon tracts sounds umm, er, childish. Are they Chick Tracts? You didn't elaborate.
