Tuesday's opening legislative prayer was apparently too much for Speaker Rosenberger (right), who shut down the invited minister with an abrupt 'Amen!':

I have to admit.....I felt the guys pain.

I've always wondered....why do some pray in archaic English anyway?

To get the full effect, look up the video. He didn't say "amen" until over five minutes into the prayer, but his discomfort became obvious after four. With no end in sight, I wonder what was going through his mind. Laugh
