Well, it is official. With no Christie to challenge and trip up the young dude, Rubio seems to be the Pundits flavor of this week! This has been such a strange race, with Trump leading most of the way, that the establishment is grasping at straws, any straw, to whip up support to get Trump out of the race.

The truth is, Rubio is not the guy they want, so it is still even money on Jeb being propped up until the elitists can see Trump fade away.

    What say you?

I say that you have no idea of how the political process works.

Rubio was booked on "Face the Nation" before the debate was held. Had he done poorly he would have been in an extremely awkward position. He did very well and is drawing huge crowds in South Carolina.

The "elitists" as you call them will accept anyone except Trump or Cruz. Carson doesn't have a chance, so he doesn't figure into the equation.

If Rubio were to get the nomination many, many conservatives will stay home and not vote same as they did for McCain, and same as they did for Romney. Citizenship and instate tuition for illegals will not garner votes from far to many conservatives. The Democrats will win.

Citizenship for illegal immigrants has been repudiated by Rubio. In state tuition is not a federal government matter.

of course, now that he is running. Don't trust that he will not change back. Neither do many conservatives.

Regardless, are you really that myopic that you cannot see what that says about him?

As President do you really think he's going to do something like Obama and issue an executive order for amnesty for millions of illegals? I don't.

As President, there isn't much else he can do outside of Congress.

It says that as a state representative of Florida he thought this was the best thing to do for that state.

    I guess so.
