If Trump has not accepted Christ as his Savior - then he is not a Christian.

The Rolling Stones freak that wrote this is not an agnostic, he's a full-blown atheist:

and a concern troll trying to claim Donald Trump doesn't believe in something the hipster himself doesn't believe in. They really are getting worried now.

I think anyone claiming a religion should have to answer a fundamental question concerning said religion. For one claiming to be a Christian one should be asked "Do you believe all people are in need of a Savior to save them from hell and is faith alone in Jesus Christ the only way a person can be saved from going to hell?" Then let's see who can answer.

Trump might be a terrible Christian but he hasn't led us into any needless wars that have killed (hundreds of) thousands, displaced millions and created power vacuums that were filled with hordes of Islamic terrorists where they could not exist before.

Why is no one asking how "Christian" the people (neocons) are who co opted America's foreign policy under Bush and Obama that has killed and displaced millions that are now flooding into Europe and the US to escape their war torn countries where Islamic terrorism is now flourishing?

I'm asking . . . how "Christian" is a foreign policy and it's architects that have caused so much death and displacement and how "Christian" can the other candidates be who refuse to question this foreign policy of death, and displacement?

How "Christian" are we to keep supporting those who refuse to question this foreign policy of death and displacement and it's architects?

IMHO Trump is as much a Christian as he is a Muslim.

That would probably have eliminated the Roman Catholic candidates (Bush, Jindal, Christie, Rubio, Pataki and Santorum).

(317pm***Edited to remove Cruz who I believe identifies as Southern Baptist.)

I know Rubio has affirmed Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

And having special interests dictate our immigration laws is the only way to stop illegal imigration.

Rubio is confused. He attends Christ Fellowship, a Southern Baptist Church in West Kendall, Florida, as well as Catholic Mass at Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables, Florida.

And your edit is correct. Cruz is Baptist, and his father is an evangelical preacher.

I have seen a number of Catholics who have converted away from catholicism but continue to attend because it keeps the family peace. Caustic characterizations like being confused are not necessary. Catholocism runs deep in Catholic families. Attending and being devout are not always the same.

Trump self-identifies as Presbyterian. In an April 2011 interview on the 700 Club, he commented: "I'm a Protestant, I'm a Presbyterian. And you know I've had a good relationship with the church over the years. I think religion is a wonderful thing. I think my religion is a wonderful religion."

But he also told a 2015 South Carolina campaign audience he joined the Marble Collegiate Church, where he married his first wife Ivana in 1977. That church has said he is "not an active member".

So, he is either a saved Presbyterian or a lost Presbyterian.

Kinda like Methodists, Lutherans, Pentecostals, Congregationalists, and Baptists. :)

Trump: "I've never asked God for forgiveness."

So, I'm going to go with lost Presbyterian.

You are entitled to your opinion, but that is way above my pay grade. :)

It may eliminate them as being truly born-again Christians, but not saying it eliminates them for office. Cruz would have to answer as well. As would Muslims and Jews and SDAs and JWS and Mormons. Just so the American people know where they stand with the Christian Holy Bible.

I would wager even Cruz would balk and spin out of answering. Think about the voters they would be ticking off if they answered the Christian truth.

Yes, I suppose (according to Reformed theology) Donald Trump could be one of the elect and not even know it.

He could be one of the elect and not be saved, yet. So my understanding of Particular Redemption remains a source of hope. :)
