The Alternative Radio Broadcast

    I do not usually listen to Radio preachers. Pleas for money and commercials for the speakers' books ('thank-you gifts' for donations) are a turn-off.

    Twice this week, I accidentally came across Tony Evans' broadcast. Piqued my interest. I went to the site of the Church that he pastors to look at its Statement of Faith. No red flags.

    Question. Avoiding the normal Cal/No Cal growling, does anyone know of anything that should cause a concern about his doctrines?

    He went to Dallas Seminary I believe. So either you'll like that or not... or be indifferent either way.

    In other words, I have nothing of value to offer here.





    except I don't enjoy his preaching

    Tony Evans is very solid. A good speaker, and a godly man. You may very well enjoy him.

    I've listened to him. I just don't find his sermons all that mentally stimulating. But he is a good speaker, no doubt.
