    If this is the wrong forum, mods please move.
    In another thread, somebody mentioned that they
    have nothing but ebook bibles unless they camp.

    So....what bible apps do you use? Are there any that are better?

    I use Mysword, Olive Tree, Touch Bible, AndBible, Tecarta, and
    Logos is on my device, but I haven't used it.

    I use it for reading the Bible, comparing verses in different translations, copy and pasting verses to BB. There are reading plans, the ability to make notes, highlight verses, etc. as well, but I don't use those features too much.

    I think that must have been me. I go to a Christian girl's sleep away camp each summer for 2 separate weeks and sometimes I'm in a cabin that has no electric or limited electric. I also like the girls to see their "older women" at camp carrying a real Bible and actually engage with it. Plus I'm just one who loves a paper Bible and seeing my written notes in there. :)

    Right now on my phone I have YouVersion which is my regular "I need to hop on and follow a verse as someone is preaching" or " I need to type a verse on the computer - let me look it up" app. I have NeuBible which is a great, very simple app that doesn't have fancy bells and whistles and is really nice to use if I'm reading through passages. I also have Reading Plan which pretty much has any Bible reading plan you could possibly want and it keeps track of where I am. The one flaw in this is that I need wifi or cellular and when I'm at camp, we're lucky to have electricity. LOL Those are the three apps that I have in the Bible folder but I have the ESV Bible app separate next to it since that is my go-to app. It has the study Bible on it which I like because that study Bible needs wheels if you want to take it anywhere!! :) I do have Logos as well but I haven't really put that to much use because I think to use it to it's full potential, it's best to do some purchasing in there and honestly, I'm just cheap. :)

    I use the Logos Bible App for the iPad during services.
    I don't use dead-tree format at church anymore - eyes are too bad.
    My iPad allows me to read even without glasses.

    I don't use many of the Logos Apps special features but really enjoy how it allows me to tag passages with class and sermon notes which automatically synchronize to my home computer with my complete Logos software program for permanent storage and later study.

    My Adult bible class listens to our weekly bible passage (sometimes a chapter or three) from my Audible App each Sunday rather than having to read it themselves. We found that when we took turns reading it ourselves we were distracted by trying to keep our place in the reading rather than listening to the story. Listening (hearing) the word is better for our class!

    I have YouVersion on my phone and Nook, so that's what I use at church. (I also have Olive Tree, but I don't use it frequently). My laptop has E-Sword and the basic Logos modules (which are free).

    Blue Letter Bible
    Glo Bible

    All of them have different functions but they are all helpful in my studies and personal growth.

    I use Tecarta Bible on iOS. Very simple inexpensive addons like strongs etc. Highly recommended.

    E-Sword, best software hands down.

    You can get all sorts of free downloads with it, including old english translations, many free commentaries, free Strong's dictionary and numbering system in the text, free reference books, MANY MANY free tools, and also some paid ones available.

    E-Sword is way better than apps like Olive Tree.

    I use Olive Bible+ On my iPad , and within it normally KJV and ocassionally ESV. I can't bring myself to studying more than a few verse of Amplified, but I do flow with sermons where it is applied.

    From the comments above it looks like I'm missing a lot, I last used e-Sword more than ten years ago on a PC, I'm tempted to get it.

    Bible Gateway, Blue Letter Bible. And Have downloaded Several Bible apps for when I do not have WiFi.
