Why is it sad if that what he believes and wishes to be at a like-headed church?

And why would you recommend someone you are not sure you can support for a leadership position in the church?

Not sure I understand your question, or why you're asking it. Do you, or would you, want him teaching YOUR children? How you answer that is how you vote.

 

So why are you on here being derogatory about the church of which you are a member?

Remember, becoming a member was YOUR choice.

 

At this point I don't believe he has been derogatory. I have to give him a little credit, the church is not really his cup of tea so to speak, he has vented about his disagreeing stance, but at the same time he has stayed with it.

We will avoid that quandary. When I saw the 'churches' doing 'the peanut butter challenge' in their 'youth groups' led by their 'youth pastors' it helped to reinforce my stance. - no youth pastors. All worship together at the worship hour. Yes, sure, there are some 'good ones' out there, but to me it is just like saying a woman is a 'good pastor' in her defense as if that justifies that unbiblical position.

 

Would you please try to be honest about this?

You stated "it's sad he will have to conform...." and then listed several traits of IFB churches that are typically considered negative, applying them to YOUR church.

How is that NOT derogatory?

 

Question: if you, as a pastor, found out one of your church members was posting such things about YOUR church, would you at least consider talking to that person?

 

He and his wife are unequally yoked. It's her church, and what he's unhappy with there are the things he's unhappy with in his wife. The guy's a mess.
