Why Cruz is losing to Trump:

    Cruz's response to Brussels attack.

    zzzzz

Here's how he should have said it.

We've been warned. Trump was right. Obama is weak and stupid! Clinton is weak and stupid! The Democratic party is weak and stupid! The Republican establishment is weak and stupid! See what happens when your heads of state are weak and stupid? It give you a weak and stupid nation, and people die! We need to close the borders, and retaliate!

If he talked like this, he'd win the nomination.

    Trump's response

Brussel's was beautiful, now it's a hellhole. It's a disaster over there [because of their "immigration policies."] Paris is no longer the city of lights. Those countries better get smart fast. And our government has absolutely no idea what's happening. The New York Times has no clue. It's a failing newspaper. They don't know what they're doinga, and we're supposed to sit back and listen to the New York Times? Watch what happens. It won't be pretty. It's only going to get worse. We'd better get smart fast.

And his AIPAC speech was nothing less than Reaganesque: http://www.c-span.org/video/?406949-102/republican-presidential-candidates-aipac-annual-conference

Plus, Cruz always looks like he's about to cry.

Because people are sheep easily led astray. I will say I find Trump supporters more frightening then Trump himself in many ways. It's 2008 all over again showing we don't learn anything from history.

Not one shred of policy in that whole "statement". All you see is name-calling and accusations. Typical Trump.

The New York Times is a straw man argument. Who is imploring anyone to listen to the New York Times? I wonder why Trump is taking pot shots at the NY Times? Oh yeah, because he told them his plan to build a wall and deport illegal immigrants was just a campaign ploy and not a real conviction that he holds.

I will say this, Cruz has attracted a lot of attention by naming names. Look how the press is focused on condemning Cruz just today. He needs get the sad looks off his face, and get some conviction and confidence in his speaking, and stahhhhp the trying to connect Trump to every bad thing that happens. He needs to mock the liberals, like Elijah mocked the prophets of Baal. Like Luther mocked Satan. Like Trump mocks his enemies.

I think it's a lesson learned too late.

New poll out today. Cruz has caught Trump.

The Republican field has narrowed and so has the race for the party’s nomination: front-runner Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are within the margin of error in a new Fox News national poll on the 2016 election.

Trump remains in the top spot with 41 percent support among GOP primary voters, while Cruz has 38 percent. John Kasich gets 17 percent.
