A transcript of Donald Trump’s meeting with The Washington Post editorial board

I read about half of it and then skimmed the rest. It was tough sledding. I dare anyone to read that for 5 minutes and come away with anything of substance.

It is obvious that Trump does not have a clue about foreign policy and he is in denial about race relations. The man doesn't say anything, just keeps repeating nonsense, I don't knows, and slogans.

If he wins the Presidency expect a 5 minute inauguration speech and 15 minute state of the union addresses. He just can't talk with any knowledge on anything for longer than a couple of minutes.

No wonder Cruz is relishing the idea of a one-on-one debate with Trump. No wonder Trump will not agree to it. Trump would end up looking like the buffoon that he really is.

How on earth did this man get to be a billionaire? Most billionaires, though a bit eccentric, still come across as somewhat polished. He comes across like he didn't finish high school.

 

Above all else, in the business world, Trump is a salesman. He's good at it. Good salesmen make a lot of money. He also seems to have had a knack for hiring good people to take care of day to day operations. Plus he knows hois own business very well.

Like Obama, as president, He would be in over his head. Also compared to Obama, his biggest plus is that he is not an idealogue and would listen to the opinions and ideas of others. Many others. Obama only listens to one...and they think alike.

 

He got to be a billionaire by starting off being a millionaire -- thanks to dad. Reports have shown that he would have made just as much money - and perhaps more - if he had just put those millions in an index fund. Ever hear of Trump Vodka, Trump University, Trump Mortgage, etc.?
