I usually don't watch the network or cable news coverage on the campaign, but this campaign has been so rare and different, that I tune in to many different shows, and let me say this, I have watched with concern how the media seems to be doing their very best to color Trump in a negative way.

I have seen Trump interviewed in town halls, and on talk shows, and watched as cable and network news have taken sound bites to support their slanted, negative view of him. It is outraguos how the media journalist's that call themselves reporters, stack their stories in such a way to make Trump.look and sound nothing like he really is.

And while Trump is at times his own worse enemy, it is the media that will make it impossible for Trump to win the nomination. WHAT SAY YOU. WILL TRUMP OR THE MEDIA BRING HIM DOWN???

Seems to me that Trump is destroying his own campaign well enough without the media's help.

So, the conclusion is that Trump is going to fail, just where to place the blame? Is that it?

I thought he was going to steamroll to the nomination. I guess his big mouth is getting himself into trouble. The media reports what he says. It's fully his fault that he says dumb things.

"I can wipe out the national debt of $19 Trillion in 8 years."
"The stock market is riding a bubble and will pop. I wouldn't invest in the stock market."
"Women who get illegal abortions should be punished."
"Look at that picture of my wife next to Heidi Cruz."
"It's the Breitbart reporter's fault that Corey Lewandkowski grabbed her. She had a pen!"

and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on....

Trump doesn't need any help in that area.

Interesting that you say that they are doing to Trump the very same things you applaud them doing to Obama.O O
Narcissists are generally their own worst enemies.

The media wants him as the GOP nominee. Why else have they given him Billions of Dollars of free air time. It's too soon for them to destroy him.

Thank you. They are getting quite a hefty amount in revenue from his antics. That's why he's on every station all day, everyday. All they have to do is say Donald Trump is calling in and their ratings shoot up.

The longer the media can keep this clown show going the better it is for their ratings and their pocketbooks.

My family watched a movie last night. When we turned on the TV, there was Trump on Fox News doing a town hall. We watched the movie, then I watched a little baseball, then turned on Fox News and they were replaying the town hall, just a couple of hours later. Then they had ads for today's show. Trump is on Hannity tonight (No!).

Take a wager that Trump will be a Palin-type contributor if he fails to get the nomination?

Just be another reason to not watch FOX news. Talk about destroying their brand this election cycle.

Actually, I think Trump says something; the media reports it as widely and as loudly as they can. In that regard, the question isn't "or", but Trump and the media.

Since he is the leading Republican candidate for the nomination, and since he's not a politician the media is certainly correct in reporting what Trump says. There is reporting on what he says/does and a whole different ball of wax which is creating opportunities for him to say things. So in that regard you are correct in saying that it's Trump and the media.

One thing I do not understand is the number of telephone interviews they conduct with Trump on television. A radio interview via phone I totally understand, but television is a visual medium and they allow Donald to phone it in and they use a stock photo. It seems unprofessional to me.

I don't get this either. It seems like every morning, they are letting him call into the Today Show and GMA. And I'm sitting in the car going why???

He's able to have an advisor sitting with him whispering in his ear, helping him with answers. Can't do that on TV.
