Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio are coming under fire for a joke the pair made at a recent Democratic event. During the annual Inner Circle Dinner, the Democratic presidential candidate Mayor Bill de Blasio made a joke referencing a racial stereotype.

"I heard my name," Clinton said during a skit with de Blasio. "I just have to say, thanks for the endorsement, Bill. It took you long enough."

"Sorry Hillary, I was running on CP time," de Blasio responded.

"Cautious politician time," Clinton said. "I've been there."

The term "CP time" more commonly refers to "colored people" time, a racial stereotype. A spokesperson for the New York City mayor claims that the Mayor meant no offense by the joke.

"Let's be clear, in an evening of satire, the only person this was meant to mock was the mayor himself," the spokesperson told Pix 11 News. "Certainly no one intended to offend anyone."

Gosh if THAT makes them racist, I'd imagine you must be one too. But leave it to the race pimp Sean Hannity to keep the native GOPers restless.Rolleyes

Thanks for clearing that up that what De Blasio said is not racist and that would explain why Hillary was not offended by it--right?

Well, Hillary is not offended by a KKK endorsement from California and likewise she needed the commie endorsement of the mayor of NYC.

And the GOP has been in bed with the KKK for the last 40-50 years. That's why they are so fond of Trump.

The values that Trump espouses are the same ones that a part of the GOP has espoused for decades. And it just happens to be the same thing the KKK espouses. Imagine that.

While you are explaining the California KKK endorsement of Hillary, perhaps you would care to explain what De Blasio's joke meant?

It think the original joke was funny. An implication of racism with a non racist twist usually is. Consider the following joke: "What do you call a black man flying a plane?" ... "A pilot."

That's fundamentally funny. In a study on humor, I've read many statistics that make a joke funny. One is the expectation of an answer, switched with another. A second is building tension, and then releasing it unexpectedly (not unlike a good telling of a scary story). So, fundamentally, I think it was funny.

I don't see that a Republican or a Christian should repeat De Blasio's joke, which even Hillary shrank from and tried to spin away. De Blasio is a commie and is liable to say anything.
