The Presumptive Nominee of the GOP said ten days ago that he doesn't not need conservative votes or a unified party to win in November because he can draw supporters from Bernie Sanders Democrats.

“Does the party have to be together, does it have to be unified?” he said during an interview on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday. “I’m very different from anybody who’s perhaps ever run for office. I actually don’t think so.

“I think it would be better if it were unified. I think there would be something good about it, but I don’t actually think it has to be unified," he said.

The presumptive GOP nominee said he can win without the backing of the full party by drawing Democratic voters, specifically supporters of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

“I have to stay true to my principles also. And I’m a conservative, but don’t forget: This is called the ‘Republican Party,’ not the ‘conservative party."

No matter how many times Trump says it, he is not a conservative.

Trump's usual method when telling a lie is to repeat the lie three times, typically within two or three sentences. (Plus he has conversations at a 5th grade level) You will notice when Trump is telling a balder-faced lie than usual he repeats himself MORE than three times.

Since he doesn't want me in the party I see no reason why Trump supporters should want my vote so bad. I'm just doing what their choice has asked. #NEVERTRUMP

    Like the Mexican-paid-for Border Wall?

It amazes me that so many are so easily taken in by this guy.

Here's what he said when confronted about the audio tapes where he impersonated another person and acted as, John Miller, his own PR person:

"It doesn't sound like my voice at all. I have many, many people that are trying to imitate my voice and you can imagine that. This sounds like one of these scams, one of the many scams. It doesn't sound like me," he said.

In the next few seconds he says, "I don't think it was me. It doesn't sound like me."

"It was not me on the phone. It was not me on the phone. And it doesn't sound like me on the phone, I will tell you that. It was not me on the phone,"

(0:42, 0:58, and 1:15 on the time line)

People being able to communicate is one of my pet peeves. And I swear, I get angry when I hear him talk because he sounds so ridiculously just dumb. Who talks like that? If it were not for his daddy, he'd be lucky to have gotten a job that allowed him to make six figures.

I can't imagine anyone being the leader of anything talking like that.

For the last 10 years or so I have made it a point to read Presidential speeches (SOTU) because its faster and less painful to do so. But with Trump reading his speeches I think may be just as painful as listening to him, maybe even more so because it is obvious how much he is just full of hot air.

That's not what Trump said at all - the actually is a Conservative Party from his neck of the woods and he was saying that he thought he could win even with the #nevertrump crowd sitting it out or voting for Hillary.

Trump does have a point with the Sanders voters - some of them are anti-establishment in all forms and there is a much less talked about #neverHillary movement that could be even larger than the Trump one. Hillary is still not always cracking 50% against ONE other candidate but but but Trump's bad!!!

What I find "ironic" is that people like Jeb! (who once said he'd win the GOP nomination without the base) promised to support the nominee and are now reneging on their pledge.

At one time within living memory, both parties had a "conservative" wing. The Dems began jettisoning theirs with the McGovern campaign. The GOP is in the process.

Yep. The man said I have to stay true to my principles also.
Why any political or Biblical conservative would cast a vote for him is beyond me?
