If you want a fuller presentation of the gospel then you need to get a more in depth tract which living waters sells.

I don't use them. I was just wondering if they did one for each election or is this the first (I liked the artwork, BTW).

The first that I am aware of, but then again I did not check in 2012.

Actually, I may give out N.T. Wright's "Paul and the Faithfulness of God" as a tract this year. Speechless (That was a joke...a poor one, but a joke nonetheless).

Why do you not use tracts? What better way to witness to a large crowd of people? There is a major fair coming to my area next month. There will be THOUSANDS roaming the area. I cant have a conversation with everyone, and open air preaching will be impossible given the loud music. So why not pass out tracts? Its the perfect way to witness, and if you believe in the DOG you would understand that God bestows his irresistible grace on those who he has called to salvation. So a simple gospel tract can do the trick if it is God that elects to salvation.

At least this is not as bad as those fake money tracts. Those things are border-line dishonest.

I am behind in my reading. I do have a NT Wright book "Surprised by Hope on my desk" along with a Paul Washer book. I also have books on my iPad that I need to read.

Has anyone ever thought of a fake Parking Ticket tract?

I can't bring myself to use tracts. It feels dishonest to me (like a salesman). Part (maybe all) of it is that I was involved in sales, marketing, management, and recruiting for the last 12 years. I rejected some of the "tools" many used then and for me a tract would just be a barrier to communication.

I did, however, like the one John of Japan posted a while back.

I do understand that God saves, BTW. There is a great little book I read years ago that spoke of our command to share the gospel without us being commanded to save people (I can't remember the book). So it's more a matter of wanting to discuss things instead of use a tract. I don't think tracts are bad, they are just "bad" for me.

So basically you would not have a evangelism plan in order to reach the lost if you were to attend the major fair in my area (if you lived in Colorado).

I'm going to answer that in two ways. First, I would have an evangelism plan but it would involve evangelism as I am called to witness to others. I don't think that it would be faithful for me to take on your methods if God is not calling me to do so (one size does not fit all, and we need more than one type of evangelism in this world).

Second, other than God getting me there....maybe by having a giant bird swallow me up and spit me out downtown Denver three days later....well....I don't see it happening.

Fine. One reason we have so many evangelism books. But I sure wish people would read their Bibles and the book of Acts and get one way to do evangelism which involves open air preaching and direct contact evangelism with strangers.

Tell me about it. I've been wishing people would read their Bibles and the book of Acts and get one way to do evangelism which involves genuine relationship and commitment for years. And I am pleased so many have.
