Elizabeth Warren for VP?

She would make the ticket much stronger in my opinion as a VP candidate for either Clinton or Sanders.

 

Yes, she would deliver Massachusetts to the Democrats.

 

If Hillary is the candidate I believe Warren would reduce some of the negative feelings that many have with Hillary. With a very intelligent running mate it would relieve some anxiety of who would become president if Hillary had to leave office for some or any reason. This may be be logical, but since when is politics logical?

 

Yes, two old white liberal women should be a dynamite ticket!

Maybe they could run against Trump/Gingrich.

 

The problem with Warren is that she might be too much more liked than Hillary and would end up overshadowing her. It it will already be difficult enough for some men to vote for Hillary. I don't know if she'll help herself in that regard with the male vote by picking a female running mate. It shouldn't matter but it does.

 

I'm having problems with my health care and health care insurance stuff today, so that may be coloring my responses....

...but the only thing I keep thinking about as I look through some of the leftist responses is, "unicorns and rainbows."

Edited to add: Oh, and even though it should probably be in a different thread, I sat in a web conference earlier to discuss the new overtime rules for those making less than $47,476/year.

Even the presenter had the attitude of "we're doomed."

 

I guess she's a good choice if your goal is to appeal to your base.

She's not going to help win any conservatives over, though.

 

Conserrvatives would never vote for Clinton, so she will not gain any conservatives if she selects Warren. But she will pick up a lot of on the fence votes.

 

I don't know. Fighting to get the undecided votes seems to have been the focus of more election cycles than I can remember, but as time goes on and I see dismal voter turn out year after year, I'm starting to think energizing the base is a better strategy.
