Politically charged Commencement Addresses! What would you do?

What a shame that those attending this years university commencement, filled with emotional excitement because they are about to receive the sheepskin marking their passing from academic years into the beginning of a career, have to sit through politically charged speeches by the likes of John Kerry, Barrack Obama, Michelle Obama and even Matt Damon!

When I graduated from university, I was blessed to have then Govenor Ronald Reagan deliver a challenging commencement speech. One that did not have anything to do with the politics of the nation, or even a hint at his disdain or dislike of the current administration or the liberal left in politics!

Our nation has become so political that it has turned to using the pulpit of even a commencement to deliver politically charged messages that may entertain some of the liberals in the audience, but can't help but turnoff the conservatives in attendance too!

What are your thoughts about all these politically charged commencement addresses? If you were a graduate or a parent, family or friend of one, would you sit there and listen, or would you get up and leave?

Hey brother Rick - that action would get you a "thumb's up" approval! I would leave too, and collect my diploma later! If Condy Rice was stopped from speaking at a university, you'd think conservatives would do the same to these liberals! No guys, no glory!
