Britain has voted to leave the EU and I just wonder if prophecy is being fulfilled or this will lead to something else. I do not have my David Jeremiah book "What in the world is going on?" in front of me so can someone tell me what is happening? Thanks..

    Huzza! It's Independence Day!
Well Donald Trump says it's good thing so it must be right. ;)

What Britain needs now is a new Reformation, 500 years after the first one. Please pray for us. Britain is so wretchedly secular.

They voted to stop unlimited immigration and refugees, stop terrorism, and ditch the crushing regulatory burden from unelected bureaucrats in the EU. They voted for independence, and indeed this day will be known as Britain's Independence Day. With Cameron's resignation, the British people will also get a conservative as Prime Minister.

The first time I heard from the headline scanning prophets about the EU was when Britain was about to join in 1973 and they would make the Common Market one country closer to the 10 nation beast described in the Bible as being headed up by the anti-Christ. Once the EU reached 10 nations the rapture was right around the corner. Well, the nations joining the EU rocketed past 10 nations and those predictions looked mighty foolish.

The lesson I learned is not to try to tie current events to prophecy.

Yes, I am, but you have to really twist scripture to find the EU in prophecy. Since Jesus said "no man knows the hour" of his return, what's the point of watching headlines?

Britain Abandons EU, Leaving Millions Of Globalists And Dispensationalists “Shocked, Disappointed And Angry”

LONDON, ENGLAND – Yesterday’s dramatic vote by the people of Britain to abandon the European Union (EU) has left millions of globalists, elitists and dispensationalist Christians “shocked, disappointed, and very, very angry”.

While the stunning move by Britain to simply leave the EU has sent surges of joy and relief through the now freed-from-Brussels nation, scores of advocates for dispensational, Rapture-based end times perspectives are said to be besides themselves in disbelief, with many having already plunged into full blown depression.

“I just don’t get it,” admitted loyal KJV-only, Left Behind-loving Mary Huddleston, 78, of Ann Arbor in a post to the RAPTURE READY! Facebook group page. “I thought the EU was going to bring in the Anti-Christ, invade Israel, and usher in an apocalyptic hell on earth the likes of which has never been known in all of human history. How could it just fizzle out this way?”

    “I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!”

As Great Britain voted in favor of a motion to leave the European Union, premillenial dispensationalists around the world held emergency meetings Friday morning, frantically adjusting their prophetic charts to include the completely unanticipated new development.

“We’re thinking of calling this one ‘The Brexit Dispensation,'” Tim LaHaye told reporters as he hastily altered his precise wall charts to account for the new information. “We had previously thought that Saddam Hussein would be the one to usher in the one-world government, but that’s looking less likely now, so we’re going to make some official adjustments.” LaHaye added that the European Union might not be ushering in an age of one-world government after all, unfortunately.

Meanwhile in California, prophecy expert Dr. David Jeremiah of Shadow Mountain Community Church reportedly made an emergency early-morning phone call to Texas pastor John Hagee. “John, have you seen the news? This isn’t in any of the tables!” he is said to have screamed into the phone. After calming Jeremiah down, Hagee reportedly consulted a series of lunar charts taped across his bedroom walls and surmised that the Brexit decision had actually been accurately predicted by Halley’s Comet in 1986, before proceeding to scribble some corrections on his favorite eschatological timeline in red marker.

You don't really think serious Pre-Tribbers can be generalized to those who try to make everyone from Ronald Reagan to Ronald McDonald the Antichrist, do you?

So you are a pre-millennial, but I am guessing you are post-trib?

    God bless.

Of course, it is. It originates from Babylon Bee a satirical humor site.

Okay, lol. I have seen some references to the site previously, but was not, until this clarification, know it was a satirical site.

    God bless.
