Well I for one will give credit where credit is due. Trump was correct when he said he would put new states in play. Utah, Texas, Arizona are considered in play at this point from what I have read. So well done Trump on keeping one of your promises.

LOL! Not only that, but he thinks it only takes $100,000 to win New Jersey!

While it may be entertaining to those that hate Trump, for whatever reason, to believe that Texas is "in play" for Hillary, it is a fool's wish.

    It won't happen. Period.

No, it won't. But the fact that Trump's lead is in single digits in a safe state like Texas does not bode well for the swing states.

True story. I expect that Texas, Arizona and Utah will all be red but they will not be landslide wins like in the past. Considering that where I live in AZ went for Trump in thr primary (but at least my native state of Colorado was smart and went for Cruz) it's a safe bet it will stay red, which means I can in no way be blamed for Hilary win in November, that I will put squarely on Trump primary voters.

Likewise with me in Minnesota. On national issues this is a blue state, through and through. If I sit out voting for president it wouldn't make a fart's difference in a hurricane, Hillary owns this state.

It doesn't say anything about swing states. Texas is Texas and each other state, swing or otherwise is their own state. Not related.

I wouldn't say it "doesn't say anything about swing states". I agree that swing states are their own entity.

If traditionally red states are showing signs of sliding, Trump may have to spend money there rather than focus totally on swing states. In this manner what's happening in Texas, Georgia, Utah, Arizona, etc. could affect swing state outcome.

But since Trump is broke and thinks New Jersey, New York, and California are "in play", it doesn't matter much.

Talk to me after he wins Texas by a minimum of 12 points.

"Red states", "blue states", the MSM sure was successful in turning the color symbolism upside down.

Really? If Hillary wins in November, most people will put the blame "squarely" on, you know, the actual people that voted for her and on people like you that did everything they could think of to discourage others for voting for Trump.

My conscience will be clear. So you can stomp your feet all you want but I am a women of my word and will not be made a liar out of when Trump Supporters knew during the primary what the price of their vote was. They made their choice, and their choice does not obligated to go back on my word.

People are going to blame a non-voting citizen of Arizona, a state that Trump should easily carry, for Hillary's victory?

It makes no sense. Say I don't vote in Washington state - Clinton will win it, hands down but then I'm not going to blame people that voted for Bernie in the primaries for a Trump national victory.

You both are trying to suppress the Trump vote, though, and want others to jump on the #neverTrump bandwagon. It's not about your "conscience", it's about ensuring a Trump loss in November.

Yeah and I'm not ashamed of that goal.

"If we must have an enemy at the head of the Government, let it be one whom we can oppose & for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures"
    Hamilton

For me Trump and Clinton are equally bad with perhaps Trump slightly worse considering how I have seen his supporters lay aside deeply held convictions to show support him. So if one of them has to win thanks to Trump supporters in the primary. I would rather it be someone that Republicans can and will oppose. Of course I could also hope that enough people vote 3rd party that the 3rd party person wins and really change up the 2 party monopoly.

Kasich didn't stay in the race to help Trump, sheesh.

There, you admit it. You think Trump is worse, gotcha. Have a nice week.

I have never made it a secret that I thought Trump was the worse of the 2. And every time I talk to his supporters that belief is reinforced.

Seems like we have seen examples of this even on the Baptist Board.

Yeah I see it on Facebook as well. I have a family member who has always been pro gun control, still is when asked, share Trump's 2nd amendment postings. I have seen people in Fundementalist circles on Facebook applaud the 1000 evangelical leaders for their meeting with Trump (so much for separation there). All of that makes me more and more leary of him being president since it is clear it is just a cult of personality at this point.

Being almost a native to AZ I was wondering where you must be from, I mean, considering you could possibly conclude that Trump was worse than Hillary. ...Although, I thought for sure you'd be another one of them Californians that jumped the border to get away from that mess yet while unwittingly trying to bring their liberal politics with them...
