It seems not to get much attention in the news, but Ukraine is a flashpoint, and near boiling over. Russia has troops and modern armament in place and ready to go. Putin has said he would use nuclear weapons if necessary. In this article, the President of Slovak, says there is a 70% chance the war would involve more than Russia and Ukraine.

I believe Putin would use them and we might be drawn right in.

Trump said today that Russia has not entered Ukraine, and won't ever do so, so what's the big deal?

I really doubt Mr. Putin wants to turn Kiev into a nuclear waste. That's not to say he wouldn't be willing to carpet bomb the city with conventional munitions. But, using nuclear weapons would be counter to his goals.

Bombing Kiev with nukes would seem counter-productive. He would be permanently destroying territory that he wants back.

Ukraine is lost to Russia--the question left is what will America do about the Baltics--or does America have the power to do anything?

Absolutely not. I was ridiculed by Poncho for saying that Russia had invaded Crimea.
