The blood of more Americans will be on Obama's hands as a result.

After Gitmo is closed, expect our government to give the land, or a large chunk of it, to Cuba.

I'm good with closing Gitmo. Holding people indefinitely without trial violates the traditional western concept of justice.

Rather than terrorism, my far greater fear is Islamaphobic Christians destroy America's soul in some misguided attempt to defend America against what really is a minor threat . They have done a great deal to make make America less Christian. We have already gotten to the point where the government his hostile to Christians.

They should have been tried. Obama has had nearly 8 years to get that done, but since he knew he couldn't get the desired result of not guilty, he didn't bother.

Yes, Carpro. But we all know that the lack of trials for the last 8 years will never be Mr. Obama's fault. It is never his fault.

President Bush had six years to arrange trials. Why blame Obama, but not Bush?

Simple. Bush didn't turn them loose to kill more Americans.

Bush released or transferred most of the prisoners out of Gitmo before Obama took office. Are you scared one these Afghan farmers is going to blow you up?

I've been blown up by more than one Afghan farmer. It's not the known terrorists who plant IEDs. It's the innocent people they coerce into doing it for them.

So, while your question was meant to demean by being facetious, it was distasteful.
