I feel like either giving up and walking alone, or killing myself. This Christian walk has been nothing but a failure. Nothing has gotten better but only worse. Too many prayers have gone unanswered, and I feel like I've been duped by coincidence.

You're in my prayers. What can we do to help?

That's why we are here, to help you through times like this. Have you spoken to your pastor? Don't give up hope, and there is hope. I for one, and am sure all others will extend a hand to you, so contact me at any time through private conversation and I will be glad to pray with you and talk to you.

I just finished reading the book, " UNBROKEN" by Laura Hillenbrand. Its basically about the lives of US Military during WW2. As the cover states, its a story of survival, resilience & redemption.

In it one of the characters, Louis Zamperini had a very turbulent life.....he was a punk kid (always getting into trouble) but was encouraged to run track & became an Olympic star in Munich. Then he was captured by the Japs & made to undergo torture. When he came out, he had to battle PTSD, became an alcoholic blah blah blah. Well I tell you this story cause he was in deep depression (DEEP).....quite like allot of us......see its a human condition my friend......one that visits us all. But don't give up. Louie did not, he sustained himself & persevered. See he went to a Billy Graham tent revival meeting & the rest is history (so they say) ;). So stay in the game bro, breathe the air of life, trust in God & He will deliver you.....He has promised that he would & he will.

God bless you.....I will pray for you & if you need to talk it out....there are brethren (including myself) here for you.:Smile

Your place isn't a pleasant one to be in and I'm sorry. It's hard to give any suggestions or advice without more details, but know that you are not the only person who has ever felt this way. And it is okay to hurt, I promise.

Have you spoken to a physician about your symptoms? It's important to be screened for depression, bipolar disorder, and other mental illnesses when you have thoughts like you are mentioning.

Take this from someone who knows how it feels. I have bipolar disorder, and I've thought those exact thoughts many times.
