Fox News Warns Anchors About Citing Online Debate Polls

    A Fox News spokesperson on Wednesday confirmed toFortune that Blanton did send the memo to a group of producers and the political team at Fox News on Tuesday.

    Blanton’s memo referred to online polls on sites like The Drudge Report or Time as “really just for fun,” noting that even many of the publications who create such polls point out that they don’t fully represent the opinions of American voters and that there are often problems with groups of people online banding together to flood voting results in favor of a certain candidate.

    Well, duh. Really, how stupid do they think we are? On any online poll, you can vote multiple times by just clearing out your cookie cache. They are supposed to be fun, but never to be taken seriously.

    You see the "freep this poll", "du this poll" if you go to certain sites. I don't know if it's even possible to do an accurate online poll since there are still millions of people that rarely or never go on the internet.

    Dare I remind you ctb, that all polls are subjective, and not to be believed. If you don't agree, just scroll your way back to the now historic Brexit vote and the validity of those supposed scholarly type polls?! Just how did those polls fare in regards to that outcome?
