“I am, however, more concerned about America’s future than Donald Trump’s past. I wonder about how Bill Clinton’s language stands up in private.”

    ...

“My condemnation of the former president is on an entirely different level,” Dobson said. “To my knowledge, Donald Trump has never abused women physically or had oral sex in the Oval Office with a vulnerable intern. Nor has he committed perjury by lying to Congress for many hours.

“Trump hasn’t been impeached by Congress for his lies. Donald Trump hasn’t vetoed bills that would have outlawed the procedure known as partial-birth abortion. Bill Clinton alone is responsible for the brains being sucked out of unanesthetized babies during delivery. That naziesque procedure continued for years until the Supreme Court declared it illegal. Donald Trump is pro-life.

“Clinton and his wife disrespect the Constitution of the United States, although Trump has promised to protect it, especially the First Amendment. Shall I go on?

“I am supporting Mr. Trump primarily because I believe he is the most capable candidate to lead the United States of America in this complicated hour,” Dobson concluded.

God bless you, Mr. Dobson. I think this will go a long way in the Christian community. Rasmussen poll is now show Trump +2. That's an amazing 6 point switch. This ploy by the media, hopefully, will backfire.

The way I look at it, we have 2 sinful candidates. One is going in the right direction (Trump on abortion, supreme court, etc.) one is going in the wrong direction and getting worse. It's a no brainer.

Translation - I don't like Bill Clinton so he was fair game but I will happily put on my blinders for this guy because he supports things I support.

Weird how he overlooks Trump's claims of sexually assaulting women but has a problem with Bill Clinton having a consensual sexual encounter in the oval office.

It has never been about the crudity of his language, it is about the meaning of what he has said.

Mr. Trump has bragged that he has. And women are coming forward to validate his assertions that he did indeed sexually assault them.

Most people don't get to spend much time in the Oval Office. I don't want Trump doing that there either.

Not yet, but he has an extremely long history of lying to the American people.

Not yet, but I'm certain he will be eventually if he gains the Presidency.

Not really. He may have recently converted to affirming a position protecting the unborn, but he gleefully promises that he will target the innocent members of terrorist families (a war crime), and treats already born people with contempt. If he cannot care about the people he can see, why does Dr. Dobson think he will care about the people he can't see?

Actually, no. He has promised to make religion a factor in immigration (violation of the First Amendment) and to weaken protections for freedom of the press (diminishing the First Amendment)

    Dobson has completely discredited himself.

Oy! Are you kidding me? Trump has never said he's going to target the innocent. He's said specifically he's going to target "guilty" family members who knew was was going on but fail to speak up and protect their fellow countrymen. I wholeheartedly agree.

Honestly, how do you let the media play you like this?

BB and UOT are liberals. Political and religious. Pay them no mind. If this were about Bill Clinton (or if the media would just report on the women sexually assaulted by Hillary) they would be chastising the reporters and anyone read the articles as voyeurs.

But that it's about a Washington outsider, it's suddenly relevant.

It's how the game is played. If it's against a conservative, just the accusation is serious enough. If it's against the liberals, it's only because your mind is in the gutter to begin with that a politician's private life and ancient past are looked into.

It really is not going to work this time.

Hey Aaron, there were drums in my worship service Sunday. I'm basically Chris Matthews at this point.

Dobson should have stayed with Christian psychology. He was good in that field. He is terrible in his politics, sad to say.

I like what Pat Boone said "I Don't Care If Attila The Hun Or Pee-wee Herman Is Running, Vote The Platform".

I don't doubt that Trump's lemmings probably would vote for either.

If Trump is gonna call himself pro-life, for me to believe it's legit and not just pandering to the GOP's voters I'd need some history of him standing up for the unborn that existed before the campaigns for this election began.

It does not help that he praises planned parenthood during the primary and also offered 10 million to women's health to debate Sanders.

    (1) Do you have a quote for that from a speech or position paper?
    (2) How is one to know which family members are guilty - knowing their level of knowledge and what measures they have taken to resist the terrorist and inform others?

I've made the mistake of actually listening to Trump's speeches. He's repeatedly claimed he's going after their families so they'll be dissuaded from attacking Americans.

I realized I could not vote for Trump when he came to Fort Worth many, many months ago and laid out a political/worldview that was unconstitutional and showed incredible naiveté about the world, our history as Americans, and the powers of the Presidency. He hasn't backed off of those positions.

I don't know that about him with regard to the 1st amendment but i do know that about Hillary. Whatever Trump is Hillary is far far worse to include complete incompetence.

LOL! None of your comments are remotely Christian. And as the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, that pretty much undoes anything else.

Of course, your political [garbage] is plain to see. That and the fact that you knowingly and consistently spew the propaganda and bilge water of an oppressive regime.

You aren't shocked at Trump. Not in the least. Your indignation is feigned. Everything he has done you would and do excuse in the Socialists. And we all know that.

And you and your ilk are panicky that we aren't submitting to the hypocritical browbeating and Bible-thumping. Simple as that.

    Jussayin' :)
