    I've been a Christian for over 30 years, made plenty of mistakes and bad choices in my marriage, in parenting and in the faith. Yet, God is faithful and I am confident that - because of the Grace of God, I am what I am. I do not want his grace to be without effect, so I strive to work hard - not to earn anything, but out of gratitude I want to simply love God and love people.

    I've worked in the IT field for over 30 years, too and I am about to retire from the University of Maryland, College Park. When I do, I hope to love God and love people by doing something for a living (will not stop working) that can impact many, many people for God and for truth. Of course, I have to start with my own heart and behavior.
