I said New York State! (Not NY City!)
We are meeting in a suburb of Rochester.

Finally got home - it was a great time of blessing!

Met some new friends, renewed some old friendships.

    Great messages, wonderful breakout sessions

And the emphasis was on church planting.

The BCNY would like to see one thousand church plants over the next ten years.

We currently have over 300 churches in the BCNY - that means if each church was able to plant 2 churches, we would nearly reach our goal.

The theme of the conference was "Being Relevant in a Changing World"

I am not from NY, but my wife has a piece of property in the Helderberg hills west of Albany. We have a cabin on the lake up there above the Schoharie valley. When we go up i attend services at FBC Westerlo. Great spirit filled Church! Seems like they are growing, with alot of young families in attendance. Being born and raised in rural SC, this church reminds me of what our rural SBC churches used to be. If the Lord allows me to retire in a few years, this church will be my summer church home.
