I can 't speak for Tinytim, but I know I went to such a low-cost & bargain all-you-can-eat buffet that I bought 3 tickets for myself and two for the wife.

:applause: :applause: I'm sure they appreciated the donation(s).

Most preachers in these parts drive Caddy's. I so happen to like Buick's which I take great pride in keeping clean etc.... Every time I would pull up someone would say, "here comes the Buick". So that's how I gets me name, LeBuick.

When I first came to the board, I had no experience with usernames. I finally came up with abcgrad94 because I graduated from a Bible college in 1994. Many BB memebers have mistaken me for a male because of my username, though. It's kind of funny, because some posters will not debate with me once they find out I'm female. Imagine that!:tongue3:

Don't take this wrong, but I was thinking you learned your ABC's in 94 so you graduated, you know, like Jethro Bodeen.

    mcdirector - media center director

I came by my username easy... it's my last name. I've been called "Trotter" all my life, by friends, co-workers, even my dad. My daughter now has to put up with it, as she is called by her last name by friends and co-workers... even her dad. ;)

A trotter in England is a foot. So, I guess that gives you a foot up on us, mate.

    Cheers,

    Jim

trotters are also pig's feet in England, but I didn't want to say that to Trotter...:saint:

Are they the same in Virginia and Maryland?

There is to this day an Island off Virginia that is totally Welsh, language and all, and Virginia allowed them to remain that way. I can't remember the name just now but it is off Jamestown, I believe.

    Cheers,

    Jim

My last name did come from England, so that makes sense. ;) I've got some Shepherd's and Ford's back along my dad's side, as well. Mom's side has Cobb's from Ireland.

When I came on BB I had just started using the net, I was in seminary and they had started using computers, and my work had gone to computers. I used the same sign-in name for everything that I was using at work to avoid confusing myself. Not very creative, but, you know, a rose by any other name....

I've always loved the hymn "I am a friend of God", so I decided to use it for my username.

    Peter, Petra, and Petrabilt

My name is Peter, I drive a truck and it is Peterbilt, thus the play on words Petrabilt.

there is a place called Petra in Jordan, if it has a truck stop perhaps I can visit :)
