I Thought the GOP Won the Last Election....?

    I thought the GOP won the last election. So why is it that Boehner and House GOP leadership are relying on President Obama to whip up the necessary Dem votes to pass this so-called "Crombinbus" bill? The Republicans are begging the Democrats to help them out, a party they soundly defeated just 6 weeks ago.

    Where are the spending cuts?

    Why not pass a continuing resolution, which Boehner said he would do after he couldn't get the full spending bill passed with only Republicans on Wednesday? That way you fund the government for only the next 6 weeks, seat the new House and Senate where the GOP controls both, and get a really good budget passed?

    Instead the GOP has given the Dems tacit control of the government for another budget year!

    Boehner could not negotiate his way around a traffic cone. The next defeat, as easy to spot as Rush Limbaugh in a kiddie pool, will be over Homeland Security funding and Obama's amnesty plan.

    This is pathetic.

    Boehner is a liar and a coward. This is not the first time he's run his mouth and then weaseled.

    He thinks something magical will happen when they have a majority in the Senate. It won't and the reason is Boehner. He's the weak link.

    At the moment the Dems still control the Senate and they need to pass a bill ASAP

    Anytime you beg Obama for help like Boehner did, and he gives it, you're passing the wrong bill.

    Boehner just wasted the last 2 years and gave away the farm for the next 2. The election was for nothing. He's a deaf as Obama. The people spoke and neither one of them cares.
