I like what he said, those sacrifices were not a mistake, his personal sacrifice was not a mistake, obama would belittle those sacrifices and write them off, as a mistake. When who knows better then the solidiers fighting the value of what they're doing.

I respect this young man's commitment to America. But that does not make him an expect on foreign policy. I too am committed to my country but I believe this war is a terrible mistake.

 

Exactly, how biased is this thread. I love all the men and women who were obedient to the call to arms but think invading Iraq was a terrible mistake. And I resent anyone implying that makes me less patriotic or supportive of our military. That is just a very narrow view.

The video wasn't too American, but to obama. And I agree with him, you can not call the sacrifices a mistake. Those soliders are there in person, they beleive in what they're doing, because they see it, we do not. All we know is what the media tells us.

 

As a loyal, patriotic American who loves his country I fully respect this young hero's views. I too am now supporting Sen McCain.

That doesn't mean that I agree with the action in Iraq.

I am grateful for these young people who sacrifice so much for their country. What makes them real heroes is that I am sure that not every one of them agrees 100% with foreign policy concerns either, but they still serve and do so with courage.

 

I think that we have made some mistakes in the execution of the Iraq War. I think that we have also accomplished some good things.

 

There has been no war in the history of wars that went any better than ths one.
