I'll tell you who it is in relation of...Lemurs
This is nothing more than another species of animal having been found. At the very best, it further proves micro evolution...but that was a fact to begin with.

You sir, obviously have no scientific deduction skills. That is not a lemur......it's a smurf. :tongue3::laugh: J/K

I don't know. This could be true. In the past I've worked for some bosses to whom this bears a strong resemblance.

It looks like nothing but the bones of an animal to me.

Why would they call it the Missing Link? Because there is NO LINK and they are confounded that their theory is not water tight as you would say.......Noah's Ark!

I just finished watching the History Channel show about this. It was very interesting - a lemur-like fossil with primate characteristics and without a couple of key lemur characteristics.

"So, Ida is not a "missing link" – at least not between anthropoids and more primitive primates. Further study may reveal her to be a missing link between other species of Eocene adapiforms, but this hardly solidifies her status as the "eighth wonder of the world".

Instead, Ida is a remarkably complete specimen that promises to teach us a great deal about the biology of some of the earliest and least human-like of all known primates, the Eocene adapiforms. For this, we can all celebrate her discovery as a real advance for science."
