Ed said, "And shouldn't you really be called AV1769jim?
    or AVsJim?"

av1611jim: //We've been over this before.
    I LIKE the handle.
Shouldn't you be called Mr. Ed?
    Get my point?//

Yes, we have been over this before ad-naseum.
It would not be correct to call me 'Mr. Ed' for I am
NOT a talking horse. I am 'Ed Edwards', the ALL BIBLES
    defender (not just the KJVs).
In general 'av1611' is NOT used by very many people,
especially not among those who limit God to one-and-only-one
Bible. However, I have no doubt you are 'jim'.

Say, I think I'll change my user name to AV1611ed

BTW, thank you brother av1611jim for keeping this poll on the top
where people will see it and respond to it.

I believe instead of being worded..."The Bible is inerrant only in the KJV1611 Authorized Version " - It should read..'The Bible is inerrant also in the KJV1611 Authorized Version."

And I would add it is also in a King James Bible you can get at any Walmart for $5.95.

    God bless :wavey:

The same price I paid for the
HCSB = Christian Standard Bible /Holman, 2003/. My source
was LIFEWAY. The Bible is inerrant also in the HCSB.

Ed, you may want to qualify your "ALL BIBLES" since unfortunately there are some imposters that call themselves "bibles". Of course, I refer to less-than-honest translations... For example, you would not defend the NWT, would you?

    I don't defend the NWT, it isn't a Bible.

    Ecc 1:9 (KJV1611 Edition):
The thing that hath beene, it is that which shall be:
    and that which is done, is that which shall be done;
and there is no new thing vnder the sunne.

So I qualifited 'all Bibles' in the Thread one might call
    #1 Bible Inerrancy Poll.

With 60 votes in, in the last two colums are the
results (number the %) of the 6th
"what is Bible inerrancy" poll. The first column contains
the number only of the last 16 votes:

    1 -- -1 the Bible has errors (i.e. is NOT inerrant) 3 5.00%
0 -- 0 the Bible has minor errors but is still useful 0 0%
2 -- 1 The Bible is inerrant on all doctrinal issues 3 5.00%
    4 -- 2 inerrant on: doctrinal, historic, and scientific 11 18.33%
7 -- 3 The Bible is inerrant in the original autographs 33 55.00%
    2 -- 4 only in the KJV1611 Authorized Version 5 8.33%
    0 -- 5 inerrant in translation based on the TR 0 0%
    0 -- 6 Bible is inerrant in all faithful translations 4 6.67%
    0 -- 7 the Bible is inerrant as applied by _______ 1 1.67%
    Voters: 60.

    Restating my point:
Most Baptists believe in the inerrancy of the Holy Bible.
What those 'most Baptists' believe by 'inerrancy of the Holy Bible'
    varies.

My poll illustrates the varity of those beliefs and how many hold them.
