    A few here are aware that I have been recovering from some injuries for the past several months. Thursday was my fourth, and hopefully final, surgery. This one to repair my right arm.

    Last night, after maxing out on the meds for it,the bone pain was becoming oppressive. Less than a minute after a quick, silent prayer for some relief Our Lord stopped the pain. There is no doubt in my mind it was His hand. It was immediate and complete, like a switch had been flipped.

    It may seem odd, but I am grateful for last night's pain because of the encouragement of that small answered prayer.

    Rolf - so sorry to read of your physical problems, and I will add you to my prayer list. I pray you are continuing to recover. Even if it is a day-by-day thing, you are improving, and that is all that matters.
