    Hello,
This is my first post. Which study Bible do you prefer, Holman NKJV or Nelson NKJV, and why?

Hi Blue Moon, welcome and best wishes this wonderful season.

I do not own, nor have read either of these study notes. I like my NASB Zondervan Study notes and Ryrie Study Notes.
The Holman Study notes have some Calvinistic bias, but apparently it is fairly mild. You can find lots of positive comments, such as its "How to study" blurb and its "word study" blurbs.

The Nelson Study notes are said to be neutral concerning Calvinism, and the notes are said to lean toward dispensational thinking.

Both are fine, but how about the Nkjv Scofield or Thompson Chain?

Thanks. I've got an ESV Scofield. Specifically looking at these two study Bibles.

Would say that both are fine, but that Holman leans calvinistic, while Nelson leans Dispy!

Could get aMacArther and have calvinistic Dispy!

I would say get a Thompson Chain Bible and use it for extended study before purchasing the bias of other study bibles.
