    There are quite a few Academy Awards given to people in the entertainment industry who are not actors or actresses. It does seem a bit strange that no non-white person was nominated in any of these other categories.

    Frankly I could care less who wins or does not win an award. The Academy Awards have never held any interest to me.

    77% Male, 23% Female
    With a median age of 62.

    When you post stats, it is customary to also post the link and source from which you gathered these numbers. Until you do this, these numbers have no validity. But you already knew that, didn't you? :sleeping_2:

    No, that makes it numbers that a person such as you, could simply pull out of their head. Those numbers could even be from your most recent Lotto pick!

    If you refuse to provide the source of your numbers, fine. Than none of us have to even consider them as fact!

    What would the statistical probabilities be if there were other possible gender categories: boy, girls, both, not sure?

    Stats are a curious notion: the possibility of life evolving from the elements on this planet is statistically impossible; yet many intelligent people believe such happened. How much empirical data does one need?

    Source data is important for sure, even though the strategy of the experiment may be seriously flawed. There is usually a lot of supposition and superstition involved from the getgo.

    In the final analysis: "Let God be found true; and every man lying."
