Greetings all! We are trying to replace John Cornyn (one of our two senators) with someone more willing to stand up against Federal encroachment. Dwayne Stovall has won most of the Straw Polls, and he was even good enough to come and speak at a church function. He is a Christian, a hard worker, and his knowledge of the Constitution and our founding documents is encyclopedic.

Here is my endorsement; I do hope you will consider him. It is time for a change.

I am afraid the Republican Senators have formed a circular firing squad and the dems win just as they did in 2010 and 2012!

While he might win the GOP primary, can he win the general election?

In Texas? Absolutely. Remember, we gave the world Ted Cruz.... we are still a very red state. The Republican candidate is going to win, unless they are just absolutely bonky...

? We did good in 2010. Thanks to Tea Party Candidates, we retook the House!

We didn't do good in 2012, but then, nearly 3 million registered conservative voters stayed home because of their disgust with Romney.

John Cornyn is a good man. He's done a fine job in the Senate. No need to replace him.

You are insane. His voting record is horrible. Unless you think it is "good" for someone to repeatedly say one thing and do another...

Cornyn, McConnell, Barrasso, Thune and even, to some extent, Blunt, are a major part of the problem. I'm beginning to think the GOP leadership in the House and the Senate are committed to instituting the Little Marxist Dictator's agenda. They've done nothing to stop it, and even cooperated in raising the debt ceiling without so much as a negative comment before the vote.

They all need to go. Texas' Cornyn is as good a place to start as any other. The Tea Party needs to split from the Republicans and run as an effective third party. They have a chance to capture the imagination of a disillusioned public and support the Tea Party agenda. The only agenda the Senate and House leadership in either party has is to continue to hold power. It's time to unplug them.

    But not the Senate.

The circular firing squad and we got Obama for four more years!

The circular firing squad could have been avoided if the establishment would quit acting like traitors to the cause. You cannot act and vote like a democrat, and then whine when no one will vote for you.

FYI: We would be WAY worse off under Romney. He is not quite as socialist as Obama, but all of the Republicans (well, most) would have went along with him! I shudder to think at what might be in place right now if we had a Romney presidency! At least with Obama, we get gridlock.
